An Elegant Owensboro Wedding

We are so excited to have a new home on the web, and a fresh new look for our website!  We have been holding off on posting on our blog, because we knew this change was coming soon!  So friends, we absolutely can not wait  to start sharing more of our adventures, weddings, and engagement sessions.

We felt so blessed to work with Kayla and Grant…these two, almost instantly, became wonderful friends of ours!  Connecting with our couples on this level creates the most incredible chemistry for the wedding day.  We got to love and serving our friends on the biggest day of their life…what an honor!!

This Owensboro wedding was BEAUTIFUL!  We began the day at the beautiful home of the brides parents where the ladies from Savi Chic Boutique & Salon met us to work some hair & makeup magic!  The bridesmaids wore the cutest robes, and were giggling the whole time.

As soon as the bride was dressed, she dreamed of doing a special ‘reveal’ moment to her father!  Oh my goodness, not only did her dad burst with happy tears at the sight of his daughter, (grab the tissues) we turn to see Kayla’s little brother crying too…He was tightly hugging mom while saying “Oh mama, she’s so beautiful”.  We will all treasure this sweet moment forever.

The beautiful ceremony took place at Our Lady of Lourdes in central Owensboro.  The service was elegant, traditional, and so personal for Kayla, Grant, and their families.  After the ceremony, the new husband and wife plus their incredibly fun bridal party loaded up in Owensboro Catholic High School’s green bus or “the booger bus” en route to celebrate and dance the night away!  The reception was just across town at Immaculate.  Walking in, the transformation was stunning!  Wellborn’s made Kayla & Grant’s black, white, and gold dreams come true!  Here’s to the sweet couple, and their perfect wedding day!
