Details create the big picture.
Details are the difference between good stuff and great stuff.
There is no magic in magic, it’s all in the details.
It’s alllll about the details.
If you can’t already tell- we LOVE the details of your wedding day! The details are what make the big picture, they tell the story of who you are. The colors you chose for your bridesmaids dresses, the cupcake flavors for your reception, the color lipstick you wore, the smell of your future husband’s cologne…these are all the little things that make up your big day! They are so so important for us to capture because we want you to have these special parts of your wedding day to look back on for the rest of your life. We also know that weddings can be ummm shall we say, stressful? Our motto for your day is STRESS FREE. Here’s how we help our brides prep the details for us to capture when we arrive the morning of your wedding.
Insert the Bridal Style Box. Yes, it is just as fancy as it sounds y’all. This will be a compilation of all those wonderful details we will capture for you on your wedding day. When we arrive, I will make my way into the bridal suite so I can be there to photograph all the fun moments of you and your bride tribe getting ready. Bret, in all of his attention to detail glory will take said Bridal Style Box and head off to do what he does BEST- capture the details! Here are some items we suggest compiling into your box:
  • Jewelry (rings, earrings, bracelet, necklace, etc.) Make sure everything is nice and clean beforehand!
  • Shoes
  • Veil
  • Bouquet
  • Perfume (doesn’t have to be Chanel Number Five…don’t worry!)
  • Your paper suite (invitation, save the date, envelopes…all the goodies!)
  • Something borrowed & something blue
  • A fancy hanger for us to put your dress on! Or a plain wooden one will do, anything but plastic! Trust us on this 😉
When you have all of these wonderful items put together beforehand it makes for a much less stressful morning. Bret will come in, grab the goods and then find a beautiful place to take amazinggg pictures of your details so you’ll have them to always look back on. You spent SO much time mulling over each of these items that they deserve to be forever cherished.
But wait! Let’s not forget about our groom! As a husband and wife team we believe in treating BOTH the bride and the groom equally 🙂 Your future hubby may have put in some serious time trying to decide what socks he would wear, what cologne and maybe even borrowed his great grandpa’s watch to wear for the big day!  He deserves his own special box, too. Here are some examples of items the groom can put together in his own style box:
  • Socks
  • Cologne
  • Cuff links
  • Watch
  • Pocket square
  • Tie
  • His ring
We are SO passionate about paying attention to your wedding details. The details tell your story and they make for wonderful photographs that you can look back on together for years to come. Thank you for letting us share some wedding wisdom with you, we hope this little tidbit has been helpful! Keep scrolling to check out a few of our brides (& grooms) who knocked their details out of the park!
