Sitting down to write this has me feeling a little mushy gushy! I (Brandie) met Lindsay in college many, many moons ago! We were both passionately in love with photography and young with wild dreams! We would sit in class everyday giggling and gossiping the time away! Then, when Bret decided to take a few photo courses as well, the three amigos became inseparable! We were constantly studying and practicing our newfound skills. (Modeling for photos in-between classes is something I think none of us will ever forget!! HA!!)
Fast forward a few years, Bret and I were shooting Lindsay’s friend, Melissa’s wedding! (PS -We are forever obsessed with Melissa and Sam!!) Seeing Lindsay again was spectacular because she had literally been off exploring the world…I loved following her journey through social media!! Thank goodness for Facebook! But this visit we noticed an extra twinkle in her eye. She seemed to be especially full of joy! And we soon found out why…at the reception we witnessed a very handsome guy twirling her alllll over the dance floor. These two were smiling from ear to ear and glowing with the look of love. Enter her knight in shining armor, Mitch…and the rest they say…is history! 😉
Celebrating Mitch and Lindsay’s engagement with a dreamy session was THE BEST THING EVER! We met these two in downtown Owensboro to start off the evening! Owensboro was glowing as the sun was setting and there was something special in the air! Mitch pulled Lindsay close and her giggles were magical!! Watching your old friend blossom with new love has to one of the sweetest things on the planet!! After spending the first half of the session in Owensboro, we decided to race out of town to end the session among the vineyard at Farmer and Frenchman. I’m positive these last few photos of our time together will be Lindsay’s FAV! Her dress, his suit, that sun…incredible!

We both love going out and experiencing new restaurants, but we really enjoy getting dressed up for a trip to Pangea, although we may wind up at Madeline’s if it’s an extra special occasion. I’m talking getting all dressed up for each other, plenty of wine (for me) and beer (for Mitch), lots of laughing and good conversation, and maybe even sharing a slice of carrot cake for dessert.” -Lindsay
