Elegant Owensboro, Ky Engagement Session

 

Meagan and Michael are the latest couple to steal our hearts!! Anddd talk about a throwback!! Because Michael used to be Bret’s boss when he worked his day job!! (Seems like forever ago! Bret has been a full time photographer for almost 4 years now!! WHOA!!) SO, the boys had a ton of fun catching up. On the other hand, the girls enjoyed talking about alllll things wedding. Wedding day dreaming is at the top of my ‘favorite things to do’ list!! Meagan and Michael will be getting married in May 2019 at Corner House B&B (one of our favorite spots, so we are already dreaming of their big day!). While we can’t wait for their wedding, we had the time of our life at the engagement session!

In preparing for the shoot, the weather made scheduling a struggle. That southern Indiana weather is no joke.  Meagan and Michael trusted us that waiting for that crystal clear evening would be worth it, and it totally was. After a few times rescheduling the date, we were finally able to get together for this amazing session!! We live for and totally obsess over that creamy, dreamy light, so when these two wholeheartedly trusted us with the decision-making process we were THRILLED!! Thank you two for being the best!!!

For their session location, we ended up at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky. It was magical!! The mix of architecture and greenery was right up their alley and fit into their style so perfectly!! From the brick sidewalks to the beautiful buildings, the campus was pretty much the best location ever!! 

We always love when a couple has an awesome style and Meagan & Michael brought their A-game to their engagement session. From the stunning, deep reds to their simple and subtle blues, their ensembles could not have been more flawless. And ooooh, that hat.!! When in doubt, always bring the hat, girls!! ???? 

Between the sincere snuggles, several belly laugh moments, and watching these two together, we were swooning over this sweet couple. After celebrating at their engagement session, we are counting down the days…We cannot wait for Meagan & Michael’s wedding next May!!! Here’s to the happy couple!!
