Romantic Botanical Garden Anniversary Session

While each couple has a special place in our hearts, Erin and Jesse are certainly one of our super star couples! From their first engagement session to their wedding day, their love has only grown over this past year!

Time has flown by for these two love birds, but we were so excited to celebrate with a special anniversary session. Anniversary sessions are so fun to reflect on the wonderful newlywed memories shared. The first year of marriage is SO special (we can attest to this for sure!!!) and what a better way to commemorate than with a fun & romantic session!!

When Erin and Jesse approached us to plan this session, we were excited to get to work scouting out the perfect backdrop for these photos. We selected the Western Kentucky Botanical Gardens in Owensboro, Kentucky and we don’t think we could have found a more amazing location. #allltheflowers The colors were gorgeous and Erin’s maroon dress/romper combo looked STUNNING with the warm tones of the sunset. Jesse’s suit was pretty dapper too! In between shots we caught up – laughing, talking and hearing more about their first-year memories. What a sweet time of celebration!

We also have to take a second to talk about the beautiful bouquet that was a part of the shoot. Whitney of Emerald Design in Evansville, Indiana created the fun floral arrangement that perfectly tied all of the colors together. Whitney is our go-to gal for allllll our flower needs!  Not only is she sweet as pie, she’s SUPER talented, too! We got some serious fall vibes from this shoot and we couldn’t have been more in love with the way these photos turned out. (Anyone else ready for fall?!)

Towards the end of the session, it only seemed fitting to pop some champagne and toast to the happy couple! We believe that it isn’t a true celebration unless there is some bubbly involved…lol!
