Well, just as planned — fall is here and I am pretty sure it is here to stay! Our AC is officially off and the windows are now OPEN — WOOOO! Carson loves having the windows open because it gives him ample opportunity to bark at anything and everything that walks by, HA! As we are knocking out our long to-do list today, last thing on the list was this blog! When you have such sweet clients, though, blogs become easy-peasy. Speaking of sweet clients, let’s introduce you to Kellen and Kris!
Who remembers Kellen and Kris?! They are pretty dang adorable and they’re a difficult couple to forget! Their dreamy backroad sunset session is even harder to forget!! Swooooon. A few months back these adorable humans won a mini sunset session through a giveaway with us. So technically, their engagement session was their second session with us. Gosh, by the second time around, they were pros at this photo-posing thing!! They were so relaxed and comfortable around us which made for a GREAT time!
When we were planning their session, Kellen was dreaming of having photos done in their home with their furbabies, Stella and Lola. #petparentingforthewin We’ve never done an in-home session with cats before so it was new and exciting for us! We happily agreed and met them at their home. We had a blast giggling and lounging with them in their beautiful home. I have never laughed as hard as I did that day. Those two sweet kitties were less than interested in posing for photos. They totally were not into it. But, believe it or not, it is those candid moments that are real, so there is so much sweetness and magic connected to them. When you add in the cozy and comfortable touches of their jean and tee combos in these photos it equals PERFECTION!!!
We left the cats behind and ventured to downtown Newburgh, Indiana. Kellen works at the coolest little bridal boutique in Newburgh called House of White Bridal. Just a little side note: if you are a future bride and have yet to find that perfect dress, check them out — I think you’ll be impressed and you may even walk away with that dream dress! Anyway, Kellen thought it might be fun to do a few photos at House of White. We tried to incorporate the business subtly to add a bit of a personal touch to their photos and at that time, the sun was doing amazing things for us!! Kellen had on the sweetest pale pink dress and Kris paired it with an awesome jean and simple, white button-up combo! It was the perfect combination for the sunlight that day! Watching them dance through downtown and giggle was the icing on the cake of this perfect day. We love being able to capture such genuine smiles and giggles!!
We were greeted by so many smiling faces in downtown Newburgh. Everyone was so polite and happy as we drew a crowd with these two. But, I am not surprised because I mean LOOK AT THEM. Are they not the cutest things you’ve ever seen?! We cannot CANNOT wait for their Henderson, Kentucky wedding at Farmer & Frenchman in May of next year!!
