Welllll I am not even sure where to begin with this blog because I can’t even put into words how much we love and adore this next B&B couple! Kayla and Christian are to-die-for! We pretty much hit instant BFF status with Kayla and Christian from the first moment that we met them. We immediately fell in love with them and that is not an exaggeration. They are golden doodle parents so, of course, what’s not to love?! They’re also sweet as pie and share a reaaaaal big love…the kind of love you dream about!!During their engagement session, we had the time of our lives. Everything about that session was breathtakingly beautiful. We couldn’t wait to see them again!! Eventually, we were able to meet back up for pizza double date night and you honestly can’t go wrong in that situation! (Pizza AND bffs?!?!) We laughed the whole evening away and could not wait to get back together with the two of them!
When we arrived to The Corner House in Rockport, Indiana for their wedding day, we just knew that the day was going to be full of the most insatiable love. We entered The Corner House to the girls getting ready and giggles filled the whole home. There was so much joy and excitement in the air! Watching Kayla transform into a bride while giggling with her bride tribe made my heart so FULL! It was so obvious how excited she was to become Christian’s wife!! So stinking sweet!
Before we knew it, it was time for their first look. We love all of our first looks, but this one was so very special! The two of them hugged and held each other tight for what seemed like forever. Our favorite part of that moment was when they read letters to one another that they had written for one another. The letters were soooo heartfelt and there were lots of tears shed. Kayla and Christian’s love is so amazing and it really showed in that moment. They share an extraordinary love story and we feel so blessed that we were able to capture a glimpse into that love!
After their first look, we spent the afternoon laughing our way through some dreamy bridal party photos. Before we knew it, it was time for Kayla and Christian to head up the hill to tie the knot at sunset. Their ceremony will go down as one of our favorite because they made sure their sweet dood, Charlie was there for the nuptials! Charlie sat like a good boy and watched and smiled as they got married. It was seriously the SWEETEST!! Immediately following the ceremony, we had the chance to get some“just married” photos and oh my heavens, the sun was doing unbelievably magical things! We were even able to squeeze Charlie into some of the photos and he was SO excited to snuggle for a few photos. My heart was literally bursting into a zillion little pieces!
After we finished knocking out some portraits, they made their way down the hill to spend the rest of the evening dancing under the stars between the barns. Kayla and Christian ended their night with a spectacular fireworks show to celebrate the end of their incredible day. We had just the best day with them and can’t wait to see what their future holds. Congrats to the newlyweds — we love you both so much!!
