A Summer Wedding at The Centennial Barn

I think 2019 has been our year for road tripping! We have had the pleasure of traveling all over the globe this year and it has been so stinking invigorating! We love getting to see new places and it’s even better when those destinations include a sweet B&B couple! Recently we got to travel up to Cincinnati, Ohio for Stephanie and Alex’s big day! We were so excited to get back on the road and up to Cincinnati for their amazing wedding. We knew from the initial meeting, their engagement session, date night, and all the planning in between, that they were meant to be a B&B couple. They checked off everything on our list to become our newest besties! We absolutely love them oh so much and could not wait for wedding!! The anticipation was killing us!! AHHHH!!

So, let the adventure begin! We ventured up to Cincinnati, got cozied into our hotel for the night, and then woke up bright and early to venture to The Centennial Barn. We met up with the sweetest bridal party spending their morning getting ready for Stephanie and Alex’s big day. It ended up being such a beautiful day for us! The weather was warm, but not overly hot which is a blessing this time of year!! Normally the humidity in this area is enough to knock you over, but not for Stephanie and Alex’s wedding day. Thank you, Mother Nature!! It was just the best little morning and the entire bridal party was full of smiles the entire time! We couldn’t have asked for a better group!

Stephanie and Alex had a smaller bridal party than we normally work with and it was awesome! There are positives to all sizes of bridal parties, but the smaller they are, there tends to be a more intimate vibe. The bridesmaids tended to Stephanie all day and made sure that her day was perfect and the groomsmen had us in stitches throughout the entire day. We are so incredibly blessed to get to work with so many amazing people. We can’t say it enough, but our hearts are so full and sometimes we feel like they could just burst with joy!!

Stephanie and Alex shared their first look beneath a big beautiful tree on the barn’s property with sunlight pouring in all around them. They leapt into each others arms and were so giggly and cuddly in that moment. The two of them were so happy to finally see each other. In that moment, I think time stood still for them. Stephanie was an absolute stunning bride and Alex couldn’t stop smiling at her. We love those intimate first look moments!! There is just something so sweet about that first initial glimpse into the rest of their lives!!

We spent the next little bit of the day venturing all over the property finding magical pockets of lights before heading inside for their sweet ceremony. They got married in The Centennial Barn’s loft area and it was so incredibly intimate and beautiful. There was so much beautiful natural light coming in from every direction. Once they were announced husband and wife, they closed the deal with a kiss. They made their way down the aisle to partake in a beautiful reception full of love, laughter, and some delicious food!! There was so much dancing and joyfulness around us and Stephanie and Alex were surrounded by so much LOVE!!

It was such a sweet celebration and we are so blessed that we got to have a small part in their big day! Stephanie and Alex, we love you guys so much and we hope you enjoy this sneak peek just as much as we do!!
