Sadie and Luke’s wedding day was absolutely magical!! We had the best time celebrating their sweet new marriage, and seeing their family & friends surround them with SO much love & support was heartwarming! Their original wedding plans may have been forcibly changed, but their love remained unwavering. Grab some coffee, snuggle in & read what Sadie & Luke shared with us below.💕
“To be patient. Also, that the only thing that really matters at the end, is that you’re married!”
“We chose our wedding colors by taking our favorite colors – blue & purple and muting them! Luke says “making them fancier”. We wanted our wedding to be classic but with a Sadie & Luke fun flair.
We got married in our childhood church. Sadie walked from her mom’s house like she always had going to church & school as a girl. We got the same weekend in July that both of our parents did!
Sadie’s mom started working on her yard making it possibly wedding ready 5 years ago. She and her boyfriend, Ed, worked so hard this summer making it look fabulous!
We streamed the wedding, had a drive by celebration & first dances in the yard to accommodate more guests.
Served our favorite shared drink – Corona – fitting for the time! And Busch Corn Cans for Luke’s farming love.”
“1. How hard working he is.
2. His fun personality.
3. He isn’t scared to try new things!”
“He says this is a lot easier than 10! 😉
1- Her smile!
2- She’s super organized.
3- She’s hard working!”
Bride, tell us a bit about who was the most helpful in helping you pull off your dream wedding?
“My mom! We were always planning during coffee mornings on the back porch. She was helpful when we changed plans several times. She did everything she could to pull off our wedding. She worked every weekend and almost every night perfecting her yard.”
“Forever & Always – Shania Twain
Shania is Luke’s favorite & everyone knows it!”
Yes! Personalized buggies & personalized chapstick. Luke always has chapstick & is obsessed.
“Less is just fine. I, Sadie, was very worried I would regret going through with a small wedding. I thought I would be missing something. I don’t have that feeling at all! Everyone was very encouraging and supportive with our decision to cut it down. Hire great photographers 😊
Luke – it will all work out, it goes so fast you don’t even notice the details”
