We are 100% obsessed with these two and their sweet wedding. Allison and Mitchel’s wedding day was full of joy, love and laughter. Having the honor of capturing + celebrating these two promise forever was MAGICAL!! Every beautiful detail of their day was so personal and full of love. #bestdayever 😍 Check out the newlywed’s Q&A below!
“We dreamt of this HUGE party with everything going perfectly. But when pandemic restrictions started to set in, we realized we just wanted to get married. We didn’t care how it was going to happen, we just wanted to be married. So the lesson? We learned we wanted to be married more than anything.”
“Black satin dresses for the gals and black bow ties for the guys. We tried to keep it as classy and traditional as possible. We added purple in for a splash of colors. It was more than I ever dreamed. Mt personal favorite, was the GIANT table we had for our entire bridal party. We sat at a dinner table with our closes 36 friends and it was the best.”
“Hearing the crowd erupt when the music changed during our first dance. No one was expecting that and everyone is still talking about it! That was soooo last minute and we are so glad we decided to do it!”
“Getting our house updated, decorated, and put together. Plus, balance work and travel lots… when the world opens back up!”
“1) Intelligence
2) Sense of humor
3) Loyalty”
“1) Will strength
2) Passion
3) Beauty”
“Right now? Like during the pandemic? I could go on forever. It was the most difficult thing to do. No matter what, it’s going to work out. If people don’t come because of COVID, it’s ok, there will be LOTS more people there celebrating with you. You can’t dwell on those who can’t make it.
In normal world wedding planning? Pick your venue, photographer, and floral/decor THEN pick your date based on when they are all available. Having your aces in their places makes your day just that much better.”
“Unexpected? The church was blazing hot… it was hotter inside than outside in the middle of August.
Hilarious? We pulled off a very nontraditional first dance! It was so fun!!”
“Coke toast! – Allison’s family has a family tradition with glass bottle cokes. It’s always neat to see share the story and have everyone toast with glass cokes. Makes a toast that much more special.”
“I Get to Love You by Ruelle / Forever by Chris Brown”
“7 gals 7 guys 4 ushers 3 Ring Barers 1 Jr. Bridesmaid 3 Flower Girls”
“Yes! Deck of cards with our “logo” We kind of branded our wedding… I’m in marketing, that what I do! 🙂
It made sense to give a deck of cards out since Tropicana is a casino after all!”
