A Fun & Fall Engagement Session in Jasper

We had the time of our lives exploring The Parklands in Jasper, Indiana with these two!! Katie and Wayne have a magical way about them that just exudes love & pure joy!! How did you two meet?

“We had the same group of friends in high school, lost touch over the years. We found each other again by Katie swiping right on Tinder.”

What was your first date?

“Wayne came over to my house. We had a fire and enjoyed wine while catching up on our lives.”

Do you have a favorite date you’ve ever been on together?

“My (Katie) favorite date was just sitting around the fire one night, enjoying wine, and asking each other questions. Wayne’s favorite date was taking engagement pictures because it was a lot of fun.”

When did you start dating?

April 17, 2020

What would the perfect date night look like or include?

“The perfect date night would include the two of us just goofing around, enjoying each other’s company while having a nice meal. Location does not matter as long as we are with each other.”

When did you get engaged?

“June 28, 2020”

How did he propose?

“We were in North Myrtle Beach on vacation, and he wanted to propose on the beach. However, that is not what happened. We were sitting in the living room watching tv and drinking wine. Hudson was asleep in his tent out in the living room with us. We were talking about getting married, and I said that it didn’t matter where we were when he proposed, so he got the ring, got on his knee, and asked me to marry him in the middle of my aunt’s vacation home living room.”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“I love that he is my rock. He goes above and beyond for our family. He’s a hard worker and dependable. Also he is very sexy!”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“She is very loving and caring. She cares about everybody. She is very driven. She’s not afraid to be herself.”

Advice for other couples who are prepping for their engagement session?

“Have fun with it!  Enjoy the time being with each other and make it into a fun, stress-free date. Goof off and show your true identity.”
