To know Elizabeth is to LOVE Elizabeth and when she reached out to us with some BIG news we were over the moon with excitement!!!  Elizabeth was needing a few updated headshots and some fun photos to celebrate a HUGE new adventure in her life….When it came time for Ella Park Bridal founders, Mike + Lisa, to step into retirement and pass the torch to a new generation, they knew just the girl for the job. Friends…Elizabeth is now the fearless leader of Ella Park Bridal!! WOO!!  We are SO proud and unbelievably excited for this sweet gal and wish her alllll the best on her new journey!!🎉

Tell us about your business!

“I am lucky enough to be living my little girl dream! When I was in 4th grade, I would draw bridal gowns and storefronts with my friend, Leah during our free time in school. I started working at Ella Park Bridal right after graduating from IU (August 2018, about 2 weeks after finishing my internship at Corner House)!

I always knew I wanted to help people, but in a different way than my mom (She owns funeral homes!). I always tell my brides that my mom helps people during some of the worst times, and I get to help them during some of the best.  Ella Park is full-service; we don’t just have bridal, we have bridesmaids, mothers, flowergirls, and tuxes! I’m lucky to have a team of strong women on this journey with me.”

What are 3 words you would use to describe your biz!

“dreamy, high-energy (does this count as one word?) fun!”

What is next for you and your business? What are you currently working on?

“I’m just getting started! I want to honor the tradition and legacy that has been created in the 15+ years of Ella Park history, but I am working on perfecting the experience for the next generation of Ella Park Brides!”

What is your favorite part of being your own boss?

“I get to bring Teddy to work!! ☺️ I honestly like making decisions, I’ve always been a shot-caller! And making my own schedule, of course. When I worry or question my boss-related abilities, my little sister reminds me that she knows I’m plenty capable as I’ve been her boss for 23 years.”

What would you tell someone who is thinking about booking a branding session with B&B?

“Quit holding yourself back. Go for it! Supporting people who are also doing their best to live their dream is rewarding– and you get great pics out of it!😉”

What was your favorite part of your branding session with B&B?

“You’re both just good humans to be around. You’re genuine, relatable, and have a knack for forging instant connections with people. My favorite part was getting to include Claire. We’re each other’s #1 fan and we only ever take non-serious pictures together that embarrass our mother 🙂 Close follow up being shooting the champagne in the exact direction Bret instructed me not to.”

What does your morning routine look like?

“Luna (lab) and Teddy (mini goldendoodle) wake me up like CLOCKWORK at 6:15 (I get no say in this), I make coffee, I wish the coffee was from a Starbucks drive-thru, I watch The Today Show, and then call my best friend Kylie while I get ready to go into the store!”

What is your go-to coffee order?

“Is it summer? Sbux vanilla sweet cream cold brew. Is it winter? Sbux sf vanilla latte, sub coconut milk.”

What is your favorite productivity hack?

“My fav productivity hack isn’t a hack at all.. carry a planner. I ONLY remember things if I physically write them down. Or create an absurd amount of subfolders in your inbox so you know exactly where that email that you may or may not have actually read should be located when you remember 3 days later that you do, in fact, need to know what it says.”

What is your favorite business book or podcast?

“Business-ishhh podcast- She Finds Joy from Kim Strobel. Kim is all about being embracing who you are, being bold, stepping into your own “big-ness” and reclaiming joy. I’ve known Kim most of my life and she’s someone I’m proud to have on my home team.”
