It’s couples like Deidra and Andrew that make our job oh so incredible! To know these two is to love these two…They are just so incredibly sweet AND they had the most magical wedding day! I cannot stop thinking about the love and laughter that was in the air!!! Ahhhhh!!! BEST DAY EVER!! Read more about their beautiful wedding story and get to know these two lovebirds below! 😍
“Our wedding took place on June 19th, 2021 in Huntingburg, IN. We were married at Salem United Church of Christ and our reception was at the Huntingburg Event Center. Our colors were dusty rose and burgundy with some blush colors and greenery mixed in. It started off as a rainy day (which apparently means good luck!) and then cleared into a beautiful, warm, sunny day! We had the best wedding party you could ask for. It was a day filled with love and happiness-the best day ever!”
“Good things take time and waiting pays off. We had to move our wedding 9 months due to COVID-19 but it was totally worth it. That extra time also allowed us to continue to grow together, learn about each other, and enjoy being an engaged couple.”
“Our favorite part of our day was the first look and just being surrounded by our favorite people.”
“Yes! We went to Lahaina, Hawaii”
“Walking along the beach and finding/watching sea turtles.”
“Yes, we wanted to do a first look so that we could have that intimate, romantic moment together before the wedding festivities began.
Andrew was waiting out in front of the church with his back turned towards the door. Deidra approached behind him and tapped him on the shoulder to turn around and see her wedding dress for the first time. Nothing but hugs, smiles, and laughs followed from that point on.”
“I love how down to earth he is, how he accepts me (and everyone) as they are, and his selflessness.”
“I love her devotion to place family first in life, her sense for random adventures, and her realistic viewpoint which keeps me grounded.”
“Mine and Andrew’s parents, my bridesmaids, and Andrew.”
“Really analyze what is truly important about the day and don’t sweat the small stuff!”
“The only unexpected thing that happened was that the incorrect version of “Lean On Me” played during Andrew’s dance with his stepmom (it was a faster pace than planned). We all made it work and the entire wedding party danced with them to finish the song.”
“Andrew’s mom and stepdad personally cut and stained all of the wooden centerpieces.”
“Best Part of Me” by Ed Sheeran and YEBBA
Canon in D (instrumental) Butterfly Waltz (instrumental)
Songbird by Fleetwood Mac
Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan
Bridal Chorus From This Moment by Shania Twain
“We had 8 groomsmen, 8 bridesmaids, 3 ushers, a flower girl, and a ring bearer.”
