How did you meet?

“We were neighbors in our old neighborhood, We met on the sidewalk with my puppies!”

What was your first date?

“It was Valentine’s Day 2018. It was literally the only day both of us had free, and I was on call for work. Eric had sent me flowers and he came over and we sat on the couch ( 2 dogs between us) and talked for a few hours.”

Do you have a favorite date you’ve ever been on together?

“We went to The Pelican Inn in California, went to Napa, and San Francisco 6 weeks into dating, the whole trip was perfect! The hostess at the Pelican Inn told me Eric was my soul mate.”

What would the perfect date night look like or include?

“Staying in and making dinner, listening to music, hanging out with the dogs”

When did you get engaged?

“July 28th 2020”

How did he propose?

“I had decided to propose in Lake Tahoe, California; on top of a mountain overlooking the lake with my daughters and my brother’s family present. That whole trip got cancelled due to the Covid outbreak. Plan B was to propose in the center of the ring at Guns and Hoses in front of 10,000 people; including all our friends and family. That got cancelled too! Plan C was to propose at the Pelican Inn in California with my daughters and brother’s family on another trip. Cindy ended up having an emergency surgery and was unable to travel. I finally got tired of waiting and proposed at her house on a Tuesday, which turned out to be spaghetti night; so that was pretty spectacular!” -Eric

What are your favorite movies?

“When Harry Met Sally, we love Ted Lasso (Roy Kent especially)”

What is your favorite drink?🥂

“Tea, or a Moscow Mule, margaritas!”

What’s your favorite animal?

“Dogs!!!”

What’s your favorite way to spend the weekend?

“Weekend morning snuggles with Mr. Clyde in bed, relaxing, just hanging out, cooking a new recipe for dinner and dessert”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“His huge heart! His way of taking care of me, the kids, the dogs His love letters he writes me!”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“I love the person I am when I’m with her. She brings out the very best version of me. I love how we can enjoy doing things together and have similar interests. I love that she has a huge heart and takes such good care of me and my two daughters.”

Describe yourselves as a couple!

“My 11 year old says obviously very romantic. We love outdoor activities, we love to go on new adventures together, we like to laugh–Eric has a wicked Bill Murray impersonation!”

What do you both do for a living?

“Nurse and firefighter”

Do you have any pets together?

“Clyde & Mojo- both doggies”

What is one interesting or random fact about each of you?

“I wish I was a pastry chef!” – Cindy
“I was in show choir in high school and college, performed in many musicals and even an opera.” – Eric

What was your favorite part of the engagement session?

“All the smooching! We had so much fun! And the weather was gorgeous!”

“House of Blues-maxi dress, Frenchy & the FreeBird-skirt”

“House of Blues, Men’s Warehouse, Banana Republic”

Advice for other couples who are prepping for their engagement session?

“Just have fun!”
