Sydney and Braden’s Engagement Session

Ahh!! We had the BEST time with Sydney & Braden during their dreamy engagement session!! Those sweet snuggles, their precious giggles and that show stopping fall foliage made for the BEST session!!😍✨ We are beyond obsessed with it all!! How did you meet?

“We met at Braden’s family farm. Syd was visiting the newborn goats with her mom and Braden introduced himself.”

What was your first date?!

“We ate breakfast at a local diner, took a nature hike, and scenic route through Hancock County. We talked about our goals, life, and memories.”

Do you have a favorite date you’ve ever been on together?

“We’ve had too many good ones. Our date nights usually include dressing up and having a nice dinner.”

When did you get engaged?

“We got engaged on March 20th, 2021!”

How did he propose?!

“We took a vacation at Edisto Beach, South Carolina. When we arrived at our beach house, we unpacked and then went to look at the beach near sunset. That’s when Braden decided to propose. He had written a poem on the one month mark of our relationship. He gave the poem to Syd to read again and told her the poem was meant to be read on the proposal and wedding day.”

What are your favorite movies?

“Braden – Lord of the Rings Syd – Monty Python and the Holy Grail”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“He is incredibly patient, open-minded, and has an incredible sense of humor.”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“She is the funniest person I have ever met and the best listener I know. But most of all, she always brightens my day.”

If you could go anywhere on a vacation, where would you go?

“New Zealand”

What is one interesting or random fact about each of you?

“Braden broke both of his hands his senior year in high school. Syd has never broken a bone before (lol).”

Tell us more about you two!!

“We love taking spontaneous adventures! We love hiking, camping, and golfing. We also love spending time with our families. Also, we love giving each other gifts. It’s our way of showing that we love and care for one another.”

What was your favorite part of the engagement session?

“We loved the part when we took photos under the tree during sunset. We both felt close and engaged.”

Advice for other couples who are prepping for their engagement session?

“Relax and maybe have a couple of glasses of wine. Remember not to take things too seriously and have fun!”
