The Swift Family at Yellow Creek Park

We had such a blast with the Swift family during their session at Yellow Creek Park in Owensboro, Kentucky! 😍 This sweet crew, with three adorable boys and one precious little girl, kept us on our toes the whole time—in the best way possible! We spent the session chasing after the kiddos, laughing, playing, and sneaking in cutie pics whenever we could. 🥰

Exploring the park with this fun-loving family made for such a magical time, and their little ones were beyond CUTE! We hope they treasure these sweet memories and photos for years to come!! Honestly, we’re still smiling from all the joy and magic of this sweet session! 🌿💙📸✨

What is something that makes your family special?

“I think one of the things that makes our family special is our desire to honor God in all we do and the amount of time we get to spend with each other, because of our lifestyle. We sure aren’t perfect, but we get to experience a lot of joy together. Plus having 4 kids means that there are lots of built-in buddies. Oh, and books!! We read A LOT of books.”

What has been your favorite family vacation so far?

“Our favorite vacation so far has been to the beach, Gulf Shores. Our kids could stay out there, in the sand and surf there 24/7 and would only pause to eat and drink when we made them!”

If you could choose any way to spend a family night at home, what would you do?

“We would have fun snacks and play a game, or watch a show like Lego Masters or Somebody’s Gotta Do It.”

What is the best memory you have of your family doing something together?

“In this season, one of my favorite memories will be when we learn how to draw with a show called “Creature Kids.” Everyone participates with their own paper and draws with the host, Justin. We drew some pretty cool caterpillars last time! Daniel’s (3 years old) was named Moby.”

What is your favorite family tradition?

“We really like predictability so we have a lot of normal rhythms- eating dinner together every night, reading our Story Book Bible with the kids before bed, having a sweet treat on Sunday mornings before church. I think we all enjoy celebrating when one of our boys completes a math workbook by going out and getting some ice cream.”

Would you rather time-travel into the past to meet your ancestors or into the future to meet your descendants?

“We would rather time-travel to the past to meet our ancestors. I think it would make me even more grateful for the modern conveniences we have now. (I love my dishwasher!)”

What’s next for your family?!

“Christmas is around the corner, and we are really looking forward to it! It’s the most wonderful time of the year and is the easiest time for us grown-ups to kick back and have fun. These family photos were partly for our Christmas cards!”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“Our favorite part of the session with B&B was seeing how proud the 3 boys were to finally get their individual pictures taken by their choice trees :)”
