The Wright and Baggett Extended Family Session

We recently had the joy of photographing the Wright + Baggett family for the third year in a row, and our hearts are just bursting with sweetness! 😍💕✨ This session in Newburgh, Indiana, featured the whole family & it was full of the same love + laughter we’ve come to know and adore from them!! Every year, their sweet giggles and tight-knit bond make these sessions oh so special. Watching this family grow & capturing these moments for them has been such a beautiful journey! These are the kinds of memories they’ll cherish forever and we’re wildly honored to be part of it!💕

What is something that makes your family special?

“Our family acknowledges they love God and Jesus and respect each other! -Momma Shirley I love that we’re all so close! After having lived in Tennessee for so many years, we are so thankful to get to make those daily memories with each other & savor the small stuff. -Rachelle”

What has been your favorite family vacation so far?

“I always love when we go to gulf shores! But ultimately, anywhere we are all together and relaxing is the best! -Emily A few years ago, Sam & I went an a leaf-peeping trip to New England in the fall, and we got to see all these historic sites, some of Sam’s childhood homes, and drive up the cape/coast! It was such a whirlwind of a week & a transformative moment for us! We also love taking a yearly full family vacation, usually, to the beach! -Rachelle”

If you could choose any way to spend a family night at home, what would you do?

“I want to eat Chinese food & watch a movie with the kids, followed by a living room sleep over! -David”

What is the best memory you have of your family doing something together?

“A good memory would be when we all went to the beach and everyone had a great time playing in the sand, and went out to eat at Cottons! My best memory with Rachelle is everyday together, and our trip to Boston/New England adventure especially! -Sam”

What is your favorite family tradition?

“My favorite family tradition is when we all get together around Christmas time and all hang out and eat and make cookies with grandma! -Dacota”

What season or time of year does your family enjoy the most and why?

“I love the cooler fall weather! -Momma Shirley I love the Spring! It’s always such a breath of fresh air coming out of winter & seeing the world come back with all this new life – trees budding & flowers blooming & baby animals making their appearance! We get to dust off the snow, take a deep breath, & get outside again! -Rachelle”

What types of activities bring out the most laughter in your home?

“Definitely when our son, Grover, copies us! -Sam”

What’s next for your family?!

“Learning, growing, staying sane, and possibly…..another puppy! (if David ever agrees) -Emily We are loving creating space in our schedule & prioritizing quality time, not only with our family, but with our friends & community! We’re loving watching Grover grow & explore, and are definitely savoring every moment with him as he opens our eyes to the wonder around us! -Rachelle”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“The familiarity! We have gotten to know each other over that past 3 years! -Emily Seeing Bret & Brandie try to make everyone laugh and us smiling! -Dacota Watching all faces!! -Momma Shirley I just adore Bret & Brandie! They’re always a breeze to work with & make it so simple to book. On session day, they show up early, remember people’s names, hype up everyone & fix hair/shirts/pockets, etc. Such a dream team & we’re so thankful they’ve documented our smiles for a few years now! -Rachelle”
