Okayyy Kennedy and Ethan’s wedding day?! A total dream!!! 🖤✨

These two tied the knot in Evansville on a sunny (and slightly windy) day that was straight out of a storybook. From the timeless black & white color palette to the gorgeous golden light and the sweetest humans everrr…it was seriously the best day!!! Their bridal party? SO fun. Their people? Absolutely amazing. And Kennedy and Ethan? Sweet as pie and made for each other!

The whole day had that effortlessly classic vibe we LOVE…with the prettiest details, big emotions, happy tears and allll the dancing, drinks, and “cheers to the newlyweds” energy at the reception!! It was joyful, beautiful and just felt like them from start to finish. WE ARE OBSESSED!!!

We’re still swooning over every single moment and we are oh so honored to share a sneak peek into their dreamy day!! Snuggle in and scroll down to read some of their sweet Q&As and see allllll the magic for yourself! 🥂💍🪩

Tell us a bit about your wedding vibes!!

“Everything was a simple black and white aesthetic. It made planning simple and fun! We’re now able to use quite a few things in our house as well.”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“The reception without a doubt. There is something so special about all the people you love having fun in the same place.”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“We’re moving into our house in Indianapolis! I start my first year of residency and Ethan is starting his last.”

Spill the tea — who was your ride-or-die during wedding planning?! Tell us who helped make the magic happen!

“My mom! We both spent the month before working on the wedding pretty much all day every day, Truly couldn’t have pulled it off without her. We also had A TON of great help the week of the wedding. Family and friends had jobs the week and day of that made everything possible!”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“We were pretty laid back about the whole process so not a ton of advice! However, the month before I pretty well quit looking at social media/pinterest which I think helped keep the planning process realistic and grounded. Our mindset was very much, “whatever we get to, great. whatever we don’t get to, also great! everyone who comes isn’t going to know any different!””

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“I lost my contact and my dress sleeve came off during the wedding ceremony. Ethan and I laughed so hard!”

First dance song?

“Until I Found You by Steven Sanchez”

Ceremony music?

‘Yes! Piano: Drew Wilson Singer: Michelle Rietman”

How big was your wedding party?

“8 groomsmen and 8 bridesmaids 2 ushers 2 ring bearers 1 flower girl”

Reception dinner: buffet or served?

“Buffet”

Reception: open bar or cash bar?

“open bar: beer, wine, wine slushies”

What dessert did you serve at your reception?

“Cake, cookies, and brownies!”

What was your favorite part of working with B&B?

“They are thorough yet SO efficient. When working them it is so clear they know what they’re doing (I truly lost count of the number of people within our bridal party and family who commented on how amazing they are at their jobs.) We stayed on schedule all day thanks to them and pictures were something I truly did not worry about AT ALL. They also kind of doubled as wedding planners leading up to the wedding. I NEVER would’ve been able to make the day of schedule without them.”
