Ashley and Beau’s Wedding

Ashley and Beau’s wedding at Evansville Country Club was absolutely magical and every bit as beautiful as it looks!!🤍✨ We had the BEST time celebrating their new marriage, and seeing their family & friends surround them with SO much love & support the entire day was heartwarming! It was a great day of celebrating Ashley and Beau’s sweet love!! What BIG lesson did you learn throughout your engagement?

“Stay off of wedding Tik Tok and Instagram! You don’t have to use every idea you get out there and you will still have a beautiful wedding.”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“Our favorite part of the day was right after the ceremony when we were on the party bus. We had just got married and we got to sit down and relax with our best friends and just have a good time.”

Did you go on a honeymoon?

“Yes!! We are at the Secrets Cap Cana Resort in the Dominican Republic! There’s a secret door in our room that you can order 24 hour room service and they put it in the door. You never have to see anyone. When you’re finished you just put the plate back in the door. Beau calls it the food garage.”

Did you two do a first look?!

“We decided to do a first look because many people that we trust recommended it. It ended up working out best to get all the photos we wanted to go ahead and do one.  We are both so glad we did it! By the time the first look came around we were so ready to see each other. Having a private moment before the ceremony took a lot of the pressure away and we were able to relax a bit. Also, I know Beau was able to give me a more authentic reaction because we weren’t in church being watched by all of our guests.”

Bride, tell us who helped you pull off your dream wedding?

“My mom was there with me every step of the way during wedding planning. She was so patient with me and was always making sure we were fulfilling my dream wedding. I will never be able to thank her for all she did. On the wedding day, we had an excellent team of vendors that made the day 10x easier and more seamless for Beau and I and our families.”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“Choose a vendor that you cannot live without and then ask them their recommendations for your other vendors. I think our wedding went off without a hitch because our vendors were excellent but also because they all worked as a team because they knew each other and had worked together before.”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“The day before the wedding my makeup artist texted me and said “it’s the big day!! I’ll see you in an hour!” I immediately called her because the wedding wasn’t until tomorrow. She and I had somewhere along the way miscommunicated the date of the wedding. I was so worried we weren’t going to have makeup and all of my bridesmaids had already paid! She handled it so well and found two new extra artists and was there on the day of the wedding. I am so thankful she worked it out for us because they did an incredible job and we were all so happy with our makeup!”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“My mom and I gathered all the vases for the wedding ourselves. We wanted to do blue and white vases!”

How big was your wedding party?

“We had 7 girls and 6 guys due to one of Beau’s groomsmen being deployed. He joined us in the form of a cardboard cutout though!”

Reception dinner: buffet or served?

“Served”

Reception: open bar or cash bar?

“Open bar”

What dessert did you serve at your reception?

“Wedding cake!”

What has been your favorite part of working with B&B?

“Bret & Brandie are flawless! They think of every detail so that you don’t have to. Beau and I had done a fall mini and our engagement session with them before the wedding so by the wedding I knew I didn’t have a thing to worry about. I trusted them completely. Not only are they organized and great communicators, they are so positive and uplifting! They kept the vibes high the entire day. All of the family and wedding party complimented how great they were!”
