The beautiful Goedde fam is up next on the blog and we could not be more obsessed!! 😍 This cutie family was full of silly giggles, lots of love and sweet snuggles!! 🥰 We had the BEST time with the Goedde family for their fall session in Evansville, Indiana!! We just adore this family and we sincerely loved capturing these memories for them !📸✨💕

What is something that makes your family special?

“Our family is special in that we have so much love and support from our extended families, work family, and friends. With Ben and I both working at Good Shepherd School, we have so many people throughout the school and parish community that love and care for us both and instantly loved Meredith. It is truly one big family of families. We look forward to the day that Meredith will get to join us at Good Shepherd and have our family under one roof during the work day (not too many people can say that lol)! Our extended families also get along so well and make family get-togethers so fun. Having both sets of grandparents in town is the best!! You can never have too many babysitter options, haha! We know that there are so many people who are there for us no matter what…and that is something so special that we will never take for granted.”

What has been your favorite family vacation so far?

“We took an extended-family trip with the Klipsch side of the family to Hilton Head last summer. It was Meredith’s first time at the beach and she absolutely loved the sand and the ocean! It was so special to get to share that with my siblings and their significant others and my parents.”

If you could choose any way to spend a family night at home, what would you do?

“Well there would definitely be a family walk involved along with reading some books and playing in Meredith’s playroom with her. And if it were up to Meredith, a little bit of watching Ms. Rachel would be thrown in the mix…haha!”

What is the best memory you have of your family doing something together?

“Meredith’s first birthday party was certainly a fun event as family on both sides and friends got to gather and celebrate. Meredith loved diving into her birthday cake and making a huge mess! The day was perfect and Meredith had so much fun—-which makes everything so much better!”

What is your favorite family tradition?

“We haven’t gotten to repeat many traditions yet with Meredith, but one I am looking most forward to doing each year is making birthdays a super special day. On her first birthday, Ben and I both picked out a book for Meredith and wrote our thoughts and special memories from the past year in the cover and gave them to her. I think this specific tradition will only become more special with time! We also put streamers on her door and let her eat all the donuts she wanted for breakfast!”

Would you rather time-travel into the past to meet your ancestors or into the future to meet your descendants?

“This is actually a split decision for us! Ben thinks it would be neat to meet our ancestors to have an appreciation for all the events and sacrifices it took for our families to get to this point. Lauren wants to go to the future because she thinks it would be special to meet our great great great great grandchildren and see how life would be different in the future.”

What’s next for your family?!

“We are looking forward to the best time of year ever (AKA the Christmas season)! We are so excited to continue making memories and creating traditions with Meredith.”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“Bret and Brandie made our session so enjoyable and easy! They really put their all into getting Meredith to be comfortable and flash a few smiles their way. Lots of peekaboo was had…haha! You can tell how much genuine passion they have for their job and clients. They make being in front of the camera feel so effortless! We can’t thank them enough for such a great and stress-free experience!”
