Here’s to the sweet newlyweds and to their happily ever after!!🥂✨

Snuggle in and scroll down to read a few answers from M&D and keep scrolling to see a preview of their beautiful day!!💕

What BIG lesson did you learn throughout your engagement?

“Teamwork and communicate is key throughout the entire process!”

Tell us a bit about your wedding!

“Elegant and pure bliss! Champagne and Black were the main colors. The wedding and reception took place at the Owensboro Convention Center!”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“Seeing each other for the first time that day at the first look was one of the best parts! Also seeing all the details come together that day was special!”

Did you two do a first look?!

“Yes! At first I was hesitant, and wanted to go for the more traditional. But Brandie sold me on the first look, explaining how we will have a more sentimental time if we do it prior to the ceremony! I also am glad we did it ahead of time and got all of the pictures out of the way ahead of time! It was very magical and super special!”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“We left the Monday after our wedding for our honeymoon! Next step in life will be to build our own little family!”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“He always makes me feel like a princess! His unconditional love for myself, his friends and family. His selflessness.”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“How much she loves her family and friends. How much she loves me. How she smiles at me.”

Bride, who was the most helpful in helping you pull off your dream wedding?

“First off, my parents hands down were the key people who helped me pull off my dream wedding! My aunt as well helped with anything and everything that we needed her to!”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“Don’t sweat the small things, no one else knows when something goes wrong besides you! Wait a day after the wedding before going on the honeymoon, makes for easier travels!”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“Yes, we unexpectedly had 2 groomsmen that injured their right legs and were both potentially going to be on crutches for the wedding with a brace. 😂 Luckily one only had a brace on and the other had one crutch, so in pictures were able to have all crutches and braces out of them for the most part!”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“I included the charms on my bouquet that had pictures of my two grandpas that had passed away. We also did the braiding of the cross for our unity portion of the ceremony.”

First dance song?

“Dressed up in white – CAL”

Ceremony music?

“A Thousand Years – Spencer Bloodworth”

How big was your wedding party?

“6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, 2 ushers, 1 flower girl!”

Reception dinner: buffet or served?

“Buffet”

Reception: open bar or cash bar?

“We had 3 kegs and wine, everything else was cash bar.”

What dessert did you serve at your reception?

“Cake!”

Did you give out a wedding favor? If yes, what was it?

“Yes! We had koozies made, and had our last name on one side and on the back we had a drawing of our dog Bella 😊”

What has been your favorite part of working with Bret and Brandie?

“They make the day go by so smoothly and flawless! Pictures went great!! They are also such a big help with all the planning leading up to the big day!”
