WOW!  Talk about a project that completely transformed the feel of the house!

It took us a couple days of hard work…but we officially got the new front door in & up!! 😍🔥 We bought this door the week after we bought the house at Lowe’s and waited until the perfect time to install it! We are SO EXCITED because it looks SO GREAT!!

We searched HIGH AND LOW for the perfect option for the door. We were dreaming of a wooden door with glass windows.  Clicking through countless websites, we started to lose hope that we would find what we were looking for without spending an arm and a leg.  ENTER LOWE’S.  Bret stumbled upon this perfect door while scrolling the Lowe’s website one day and our jaws dropped when we saw the price!  Less than $200 for our dream door?! #WINNING.

After checking out the reviews, we decided to go for it and we are 100% pleased with it.  The door is a slab door (meaning it wasn’t pre-hung), so we had to stretch our abilities and learn how to hang the door ourselves!  We grabbed a handy template/hole saw kit and went for it. After hanging the door successfully, we sealed it with water based protective finish! We are officially counting this DIY project as one of our all time FAVS! It was so easy, a little tedious, and the results were perfect.

The wood door adds so much character to the front facade of the house and makes the living room area feel so much cozier! We are thrilled to see that our vision for #the222trilevel is coming together perfectly!!🥰 A little hard work and a lotta love has gone such a long way!
