We were oh so excited to grab a few photos for Brittany, the proud owner of Beverly J. Ellen!  Beverly J. Ellen is a new, local shop here in our hometown that has the BEST fun finds!  We are obsessed with everything Brittany does so we were thrilled to photograph her in this magical space!!  Check out a few of our favorites and get to know more about Beverly J. Tell us about your business:

“I have loved flowers, decorating and redoing furniture since I can remember….I remember as a kid changing my room all the time! I even painted and put a border up myself when I was in middle school! 

My Aunt Lisa and I had a crazy idea to grow cut flowers last summer! And that snowballed into looking for a place to maybe open up a little shop…and that’s how Beverly J. Ellen got started!

Beverly J. Ellen is a fresh floral shop offering revamped furniture, home decor, funeral gifts and unique finds for alllll ages. My goal is to have something for everyone!

The shop’s name, Beverly J. Ellen, came from both of my grandmas – Beverly & Ellen – and the J. represents my mom, sisters & daughters name!  The family legacy behind BJE is SO special to me!”

What are 3 words you would use to describe your biz?

“Fun, Family, Love”

What is next for you and your business?

“I’m working on improving my furniture flipping skills and spreading the word that I redo other people’s furniture, too!! I am also trying to up my social media game!  Plus, I am always hunting for one of a kind gifts, sweet funeral/bereavement gifts, and unique home decor options to add to the shop!”

What is your favorite part of being your own boss?

“It’s still too fresh to know that I am indeed my own boss! 🤣 But, my favorite part is the freedom of knowing this is mine and that all of my dreams are falling into place!!”

What does your morning routine look like?

“Always up at 5:30am!! I like to catch up on a few of my shows and then settle in on the front porch for some coffee for a bit! Then the craziness begins!!”

What is your go-to coffee order?

“Black Rifle Coffee at home with a little creamer! Nothing too fancy but oh so delicious!”

What is your favorite productivity hack?

“Finish one thought at a time! And also, making a list when my brain is crowded helps keep me focused!”

What would you tell someone who is thinking about booking a branding session with B&B?

“DO it!!! B&B make it painless! I feel like it it will help people get to know me and my business better, so I’m excited to see that happen!”
