The Skeels Family Session

Okay, the Skeels family is literally the BEST thing ever!! Between mom & dad’s giggles and the boys happily cooperating with every little thing, we had the BEST time!! Such a great family and oh so full of love!! What is something that makes your family special?

“Lots of people that have known us for a while don’t realize that we’re a blended family. Our boys are 5 months apart (no, I didn’t pull off a magic trick) and have been together since the boys were 2. We love and treat our kids as our own, regardless of who they came from!”

What has been your favorite family vacation so far?

“We took the boys to Disney a few years ago and we all had a BLAST! It was the boys first time flying and first time to Florida!”

If you could choose any way to spend a family night at home, what would you do?

“Playing board games all night! We have recently starting playing board and card games a lot in the evenings!

(We love healthy competition :))”

What is the best memory you have of your family doing something together?

“Going to Gatlinburg over fall break last year with some of our close friends. Exploring the aquarium and riding dune buggies through the mountains was so much fun!”

What is your favorite family tradition?

“Putting up the Christmas tree! We love looking at the ornaments that have been made or given to us over the years and getting in the holiday spirit!”

Would you rather time-travel into the past to meet your ancestors or into the future to meet your descendants?

“Into the past. I wish the boys had a chance to meet some of our wonderful family members that we have memories of.”

What’s next for your family?!

Onto the next sport! The boys recently just wrapped up basketball and football, and wresting is right around the corner! We wouldn’t know what to do with our time if these boys weren’t active year-round!

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“Bret and Brandie just made everyone feel comfortable. We haven’t had a family photo session in years, so had no idea where to stand (and what do I do with my hands?!?!), and those awful forced smiles. They were wonderful with getting those natural smiles out of us and making the time fly by!”
