Tell us about your business!

“As a freelance graphic designer, my job is to ensure my clients’ businesses are recognized and grow through responsive design and layout while remaining consistent and true to their values and brand. Whether continuing to build upon a current brand, revamping an existing one, or starting from scratch, by Chance graphics will work to fulfill all your branding, advertising, website design, print design, social media, and email marketing needs. I manage all projects, from beginning to end, professionally and efficiently.”

What are 3 words you would use to describe your biz?

“Creative, Caring, Efficient, Dependable”

What is next for you and your business? What are you currently working on?

“I recently expanded by acquiring another designer’s business that had decided to sell. I plan on constantly continuing my education through courses (both in person and online), along with self-education via books and seminars. I am currently working on several websites, social media ad management, and email marketing campaigns.”

What is your favorite part of being your own boss?

“My favorite part of being my own boss….hmm…I have worked harder owning my own business than I ever had when I worked for someone else, but it’s different. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love meeting new clients. I love helping them with their businesses, and I love seeing them grow and thrive. I NEVER know what the day is going to bring, and I can honestly say that I learn something new each and every day. If I don’t know how to do it, I figure it out. That’s the beauty of it, there is no one else to blame but me! I truly love what I do, and I love serving others!”

What does your morning routine look like?

“Coffee, Fur Babies, Coffee and Work, Work and Coffee”

What is your go-to coffee order?

“Is there a wrong way or bad time to drink coffee? I THINK NOT! Hot, warm, cold, strong, sweet, on ice, a few hours old. I’ll take it any way I can get it!”

What is your favorite productivity hack?

“Lists, lots of lists, and not leaving my office for the day without having a plan for the next day. That usually changes depending on the needs of my clients, but I try to stick to it as much as possible. That and MULTI-TASKING!”

What is your favorite business book or podcast?

“• You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life – Jen Sincero (I’ve read this book 1,000,000 times)

I have put off updating my site much longer than I ever should have. How can I advertise that I do fantastic and phenomenal website design when mine is currently outdated and basically sucks! I’ve pushed it to the back burner for much too long.)
