“Reid’s was absolutely magical, the orchard was full of life and color. Everything was hectic but everyone was so happy.”
“Travis- Getting Married — Emma- Spending the day all of the most important people in my life and getting to celebrate the next step in our relationship.”
“Not yet! We are going over the winter shutdown for work so we will fly out the day after Christmas. We will be going to Disney! We are staying at the port orleans riverside and will be there for 6 days, 3 days spent roaming the Disney parks, getting our keys to the kingdom and then finishing up with 2 days at universal before we fly home.”
“We Did! We wanted to calm our nerves and get ALL of the amazing pictures we could possibly squeeze in.”
“Emma- I had been fighting some stress induced cold symptoms all week and my stomach had been in knots for days over the lack of sleep and all the stress of trying to make sure everything was all set up and good to go. The moment I walked up and saw him my nerves settled and I was completely ready to take on the day next to my best friend. Travis- It was the first time all day that I was nervous, when I heard she was right behind me. I felt better when I turned around saw her.”
“Getting our house in order! We moved in the last week of june/first week of july and we have walls to paint, shelves to build, things to organize. it’s going to be an exciting adventure (and probably our biggest challenge to date)”
“1. How hard he loves not only me, but his family, my family, and all of our friends. 2. How thoughtful he is, I’m a sucker for sentimental value and he basks in the importance of things with me. 3. How silly he can be.”
“1. Her personality 2. How hard working she is 3. She loves me for me”
“There was so many people who helped its hard to name one, My mammaw was absolutely amazing. She’s extremely crafty. Her and my cousin hand dyed all of the sola wood flowers, made the bouquets, made the boutonnieres, painted canvases for the rehearsal dinner, decorated the bubbles and the baskets. Mammaw brought several heirlooms for pictures, one of her antique chairs was used for the sweetheart table and she was there for every single moment of preparation. I think my favorite thing my mammaw did was something we didn’t even get to use, she dehydrated flower petals to be able to use as biodegradable confetti for our big picture moment back down the aisle. The rain moved the ceremony inside and we didn’t get our picture moment but we couldn’t have asked for a better day and I can’t thank her enough for everything she did.”
“Emma- Don’t sweat it, Knock all of the big items out that you can and find the vendors that you know will take care of you and give you as stress free a day as possible Travis- Rain on your wedding day is good luck!”
“Rain. All of the rain. The bride did forget her bouquet when she was being driven to the event building, Valerie Reel (In charge of events at Reid’s Orchard) took her shoes off and sprinted back to the bridal house to go get it.”
“Prayed for you Matt Stell”
“We did lots of string instrumentals of popular songs, the family processional was a string group playing “Halleluiah”, the wedding party processional was the piano guys “Beethoven’s 5 secrets”, the bridal march was “you are the reason” by Callum Scott. The recessional was “Moments we live for” by In Paradise.”
“6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, 3 unity ceremony bearers, 1 flower boy, 1 ring bearer, 2 nephews and a niece.”
“Buffet!”
“Open Bar!🍻”
“Cake! Travis’ Amazing Great Aunt Stevie made vanilla, strawberry, banana, choclate, and red velvet. They were all absolutely delicious and Beautiful! They both looked better than the inspiration pictures!”
“koozies! Everyone loves a good koozie and all the extras will be cherished around our house and our families.”
