The Goedde Family Session

The whole fam was in town for the holidays, so their sweet mama JoAnn got excited and booked a family session…and we are OBSESSED!! We’ve known this sweet crew for a while now and getting them in front of our camera is always a ton of fun!!  We lucked out with an unseasonably warm day and The Corner House absolutely never disappoints, plus the pure excitement of having everyone together was such a treasure!!! How ADORABLE are these cutie memories?!

Get to know more about this sweet family below and keep scrolling to see a sneak peek of their extended family session!✨

What is something that makes your family special?

“No matter what life has thrown at us, we’ve come through by loving and supporting each other, knowing that no matter what, we will take care of each other. Emmett’s answer is “Love!” and Kollyns said “Kisses!”

What has been your favorite family vacation so far?

“We haven’t really been on a full family vacation, but we have been all together for each other’s weddings. Those have been some of the best trips, filled with the chaos and last-minute crises that are just part of weddings. We’ve laughed, loved and enjoyed each other so much during those days. Emmett said “Florida!” while Kollyns loved the trips to Holiday World.”

If you could choose any way to spend a family night at home, what would you do?

“We’d have a great dinner that we all had part in preparing, and then just hang out watching a movie or game.”

What is the best memory you have of your family doing something together?

“This Christmas! It’s been so many years (14 to be exact) since I had both of my boys together to celebrate the holidays, and now we have their wonderful wives to be part of it. Just having all my loves together in one room makes my mama heart sing!”

What is your favorite family tradition?

“Sunday dinners. When Evan and David were young, it was the one day of the week that I slowed down and really cooked. Now I continue that with David, Brooklyn and the kids (and Evan and Allie when I can!). It’s just a nice way to wind up the week with a home cooked meal together.”

Would you rather time-travel into the past to meet your ancestors or into the future to meet your descendants?

“I think I’d like to travel into the future to meet my descendants. I’d like to see how they’ve kept the family love and traditions alive and to let them know how much I’ve thought about them long before they ever came to be.”

What’s next for your family?!

“We’re eagerly waiting for the birth of a beautiful baby girl in May. There will be big changes for the other grandbabies, too, with Emmett starting kindergarten and Kollyns starting pre-school. If all goes as planned, we’ll all be together in Montana at the end of the summer, checking out where Evan and Allie live.”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“All the laughter. Even when it started as pretend giggling for the pictures, it became genuine and reflective of how much we love and enjoy each other. It was magical!”
