Richardson’s Maternity Session

The Richardson family is adding another sweet babe to their crew and we couldn’t be more excited for them!!! This session was extra special because showering this family in love and celebrating this little guy’s arrival sincerely made our hearts swell with so much joy…we’ve been lucky enough to document maternity sessions for each of the Richardson kiddos!! AHH! Let the countdown to Calvin’s arrival begin!!😍 We love you all SO much!!💙

What is something that makes your family special?

“I think the way we find joy in life’s simplest moments makes our little family feel extra special. We love Friday pizza nights on the couch as much as a trip to DisneyWorld, so long as we are all together.”

What has been your favorite family vacation so far?

“Any one of our trips to Disney World since having kids would rank very high on our list. Experiencing the magic through our kids’ eyes is a feeling I hope we never forget!”

If you could choose any way to spend a family night at home, what would you do?

“A pizza, Mario on the Switch, and pajamas on the couch .. which is pretty much our family Friday nights!”

What is the best memory you have of your family doing something together?

“How do we pick just one? One of our favorite memories would be from our most recent beach trip. It was just the four of us, and we’d spent the whole day at the beach. We decided to stay in for the evening and take the kids to the resort pool. We ordered poolside food service, and just let the kids play in and out of the water all evening. The food was good, the atmosphere was amazing, and we sat watching the kids playing hoping we could freeze time in that moment.”

What is your favorite family tradition?

“Pizza Friday! Every Friday, the kids take turns picking a pizza restaurant (I wrote all the local options on pieces of paper and put them in a jar). We all go pick up the pizza, bring it home, change into pajamas, and enjoy pizza on the couch while watching a movie or playing Mario.”

How would you describe your family in 3 words?

“Adventurous, Blessed, Joyful”

What’s next for your family?!

“We are all anxiously awaiting our last addition, Baby Calvin! We can’t wait to see how his arrival shapes our family and rounds out our little bunch.”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“Again, picking just one thing is so hard! We’ve known B&B for years and years. Brandie and I literally go back to third grade friends! They are so easy to work with, and they make it so fun for the kids. They know exactly how to get even the craziest of situations to calm down and capture that *perfect* shot. I’m grateful for them not only in their talent in photography, but for the wonderful friends they have been to our family.”
