Corner House B&B Engagement Session

October was a busy month for us. Weddings galore! Although this time of year for us is busy, it is one of our favorite times of year! It can be busy and hectic, but Hailey and Morgan’s engagement session was just what we needed to round out the month. Hailey and Morgan’s engagement session was one of those sessions that showed us that this is the profession we were meant to do. Photographing happy, in-love couples is truly what we enjoy doing. Sometimes we know our clients before we do their engagement sessions, sometimes we do not. In this case, we didn’t know Morgan and Hailey all that well before their session. One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is that it is a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know the future bride and groom. You can learn a lot about someone in just a couple of hours! During Hailey and Morgan’s session we became friends quickly. It was the last Sunday of October and it was the most perfect fall day. These two were hoping to get their session in before the leaves changed and fell from the trees. We were oh so excited for how the day panned out…it was perfect!!

We first met them in downtown Newburgh, Indiana to explore for a bit. The first half of their session was done with their 10 month old Goldendoodle, Bear. Guys, Bear simply stole the show. He was absolutely adorable and loved being in front of the camera. You can legitimately see a smile in that sweet pup’s face! It was brought up probably 15-20 times that Bear needed to meet Carson for a play date ASAP because it was so obvious that they would become besties! If you’ve ever tried photographing your dog, you know that it is not always the easiest task. It was so fun to laugh and smile along with Hailey and Morgan as we tried to get Bear into the perfect positions. We just love getting to see couples in a relaxed environment, laughing and just getting to enjoy each other.  (And PS, Bear nailed every shot!)

After Bear left for the afternoon, we continued to explore downtown Newburgh. Newburgh has some of the cutest, quaint little spots for photo opportunities. I feel like we are always finding new spots each time we take a couple there! Hailey and Morgan had on the most adorable fall outfits full of plaid, vests, booties, and ALL THE FALL THINGS (insert heart-eyes emoji here!) They both looked classy and well put together. It was so very obvious that they read our Style Guide and took all of our tips to heart! Hailey and Morgan, you guys rock!

For the last half of the session, we headed over to the Corner House Bed and Breakfast in Rockport, Indiana. Hailey and Morgan will be having their reception at the Corner House in October 2018. We thought it would be neat to have pictures of two different special events in their lives taken at the same place. We were blessed that evening with the most perfect fall sunset. I honestly can’t think of anything that compares to that dreamy, hazy fall sun. Morgan’s sport coat paired perfectly with Hailey’s blush colored, floral dress. Anyone could tell you this about us, but we love a classy, well-dressed couple! These guys nailed it!! Hailey and Morgan danced on the top of the world that night underneath the setting sun, constantly displaying their infectious smiles. We could not have asked for a better couple, better weather, or a more perfect day!

This sneak peek is such a gorgeous reflection of who these two are as a couple and we are oh so grateful to be a part of this chapter of their life. Hailey and Morgan, we cannot wait to celebrate with you next October!
