Maddie and Corey’s wedding day at the beautiful Evansville Country Club was nothing short of magical! 😍 From the moment we arrived, it was clear just how much love and thought went into every. single. detail. Their day was the perfect mix of classic elegance & modern flair—truly timeless yet oh so vibey!! Maddie and Corey didn’t just plan a wedding; they crafted an experience, one filled with intentional moments that reflected their personalities & the love they share!🙌🏼

What began as an outdoor reception was transformed by a dramatic twist of weather, as the remnants of a hurricane swept through Southern Indiana…While the weather might have thrown a curveball, the rain added a little drama—and well, who doesn’t love a little drama?! Sometimes it’s the unexpected moments that make the best memories and this was no exception! The rain added a touch of romance that only made the wedding day more unforgettable!! The outdoor reception became an extraordinary indoor celebration, full of joy and beauty. The cozy, romantic atmosphere that filled Evansville Country Club’s ballroom was absolutely breathtaking!💫

Maddie was truly a vision—her iconic white gloves were the perfect touch of old-school glamour, and she looked stunning…Corey’s face when he saw her for the first time said it all! Watching these two surrounded by their sweet family & friends was such a heartwarming sight!! Every laugh, every tear, and every moment of joy was soo special…you could just feel how loved these two are! Their favorite people showed up to celebrate them in the best way, despite the rain, and it was a party filled with so much love & lots of energy!!💕

We felt so honored to be there, capturing these memories for Maddie and Corey. It was a day filled with forever moments, and we’re so grateful to have been part of it…This wedding will always be a special one in our hearts! From the laughter to the love, and yes, even the rain—this was a day we will never forget! CONGRATS MR & MRS NAGEL! Here’s to the sweet newlyweds!! 🥂✨🖤💫🎉

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“Our first look was our favorite part of the day! We wrote our own vows and then read them to each other privately during our first look, and it was unbelievably special! We loved having some peaceful time alone in the midst of all the chaos and appreciated getting to spend as much time together as possible on our wedding day! The first look also alleviated a lot of the nerves we had been feeling and gave us a chance to soak in all the excitement before we headed to the ceremony.”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“We are heading to Spain for our honeymoon and then plan to get a doodle puppy in the spring :)”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“I love his kind heart, his goofy personality, and his passion for all of the things he loves. I have never met someone who is so dedicated to his career, hobbies, and passions. He pours 110% of himself into the things and people that he loves. He makes me laugh every single day, and I love that I can be so authentically myself around him. He’s my favorite person to be around, and he brightens my days with his jokes and fun-loving spirit.”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“I love her goofiness, her work ethic, and her kindness. She instantly brightens everyone’s day and lights up a room with her energy, personality, and kindness. Dull moments where we are just sitting around become extremely entertaining with Maddie, and no one can make me laugh the way that she can. She’s one of the smartest and hardest working people I’ve ever met. I fall in love with her all over again every single day.”

Bride, who was the most instrumental in helping you bring your dream wedding to life?

“My mom and Jamie Brewer of DayLily Events! My mom understood and agreed with my vision from day 1 and was instrumental in putting together the classic, elegant wedding of my dreams! I absolutely could not have done it without her. Our incredible wedding planner Jamie assembled the vendor dream team and kept us on track throughout the wedding planning process. She truly poured everything she had into our wedding day and made sure every detail was absolutely perfect!”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“Enjoy every single second of it! Wedding planning can feel very overwhelming at times, but it goes by so quickly. It is truly such a special time in your life, so embrace every moment and try not to stress too much about the little things. We went on a date on the 28th of every month leading up to our wedding and talked all things wedding planning to try to keep the planning process fun and exciting!! Highly recommend!”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“A hurricane hit Indiana and required us to change our reception from outside to inside 🙂 I was originally upset that it was going to rain all day, but the rain ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day! Our incredible vendors kept me calm and reassured me that everything would work out perfectly, and they were absolutely right. Embracing the rain for photos with Bret and Brandie’s clear umbrellas is one of my favorite memories of the day!!”

How big was your wedding party?

“I had 9 bridesmaids, and Corey had 9 groomsmen!”

Reception dinner: buffet or served?

“Served”

Reception: open bar or cash bar?

“Open Bar”

What dessert did you serve at your reception?

“Wedding cake 🙂 We gave guests the choice of chocolate or vanilla cake!”

What has been your favorite part of working with B&B?

“B&B are the absolute best!! They are true professionals who are incredibly talented but are also kind, thoughtful individuals who make an effort to get to know you and connect with you before your big day. They were way more than just our photographers – they were our confidants, shoulders to cry on (literally), cheerleaders, etc. They brighten every room they walk into and make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera! I cannot imagine our wedding day without them!”
