The Goedde Family Session

We had the absolute joy of making the scenic road trip to Virginia to photograph Kelynn and Matthew’s breathtaking wedding at Fleetwood Farm Winery. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this day was going to be nothing short of magical. 📸✨💕 The sun was shining, the venue was stunning, and Kelynn and Matt were positively glowing with excitement. These two have the sweetest, most genuine best-friend kind of love that just lights up a room, and being there to capture every heartfelt moment was an honor we’ll never forget.

Surrounded by their sweet family and friends, the day was filled with endless amounts of love and laughter!! From the emotional first look that left everyone misty-eyed, to the non-stop giggles with the wedding party, to the pure joy during the reception as they danced the night away with their favorite people—it truly was the sweetest wedding day!❤️ Every detail was thoughtfully planned, every smile was authentic, and every moment felt like it was pulled straight from a fairytale! We are beyond grateful to have been part of Kelynn & Matt’s special celebration, and we sincerely adore this family beyond words!!

Here’s to Kelynn & Matt and here’s to their love, laughter & happily ever after! ✨🥂🎉

Tell us a bit about your wedding!

“We decided to have our wedding ceremony in our family church, and the reception at a local winery! And it was beautiful! There was sunshine out the whole day, and we couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out.”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“For Matthew, it was the first look!
For Kelynn, it was the moment the church doors opened, where she could hear the music and see Matthew standing at the end of the aisle.”

Did you two do a first look?

“We did! We wanted to have a moment where it was just us, and we could really soak in the moment that we were about to finally get married. We did our first look in the gardens at the winery, and each of us can look back and remember the sounds of the birds and the feel of the sun as we stood there waiting to finally turn. When we did, we were both a mess of emotion!”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“We are thrilled to finally be husband and wife and see where life takes us!”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“Matthew is caring, full of life, and always knows how to make me laugh!”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“Remember to take your time! It all goes by so fast, and while the stress of wedding planning can be a lot, you only get to do it all once! So enjoy every second of it.”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“DJ Kelynn!! The DJ pulled Kelynn over mid way through the reception to be the DJ during a song! It was epic!”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“We decided to add on a trumpet player to the church music during our ceremony. We both played trumpet in college, so it was a beautiful touch to when we finally said “I do”!”
