Lily and Parker’s Evansville Country Club Wedding

Ohhh friends…this one was truly what dreams are made of!!!✨ From the moment we arrived to the champagne tower at sunset, Lily and Parker’s wedding day was filled with magic, beauty, joy and alllll the sweet love!!!🥹

All week long, the forecast had threatened rain and thunderstorms but the skies had other plans…The clouds parted, the sun peeked through and their day turned out to be nothing short of glorious. Truly, it felt like the weather knew how special this celebration was and decided to show off a little!!😍🌤️👏🏼

Lily and Parker are the kind of couple who radiate kindness, warmth and light. Beautiful inside and out…these two were an absolute joy to photograph and celebrate!!! Their families were just as sweet and welcoming and don’t even get us started on their wedding party…SO fun, SO kind and SO full of energy. Every single person surrounding Lily and Parker that day added to the magic!!!

They said “I do” at the stunning St. Benedict’s Cathedral, a ceremony that felt sacred and timeless! From there, the party moved to Evansville Country Club, where the scenery was breathtaking and every detail was thoughtfully planned & beautifully executed. From start to finish, their day was full of elegance, intention and joy!! We’re OBSESSED!!!

Tell us a bit about your wedding!

“The colors were light blue, golds, & some white & black. Flowers had a pop of light pink. Ceremony was at St. Benedict Cathedral & reception was at the Evansville Country Club. We did not do a first look and have no regrets! Also, very excited to see flower petal toss exit photos from ceremony as well as champagne tower photos from reception.”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“Celebrating our love with all of our friends and family at the reception. Dancing was each of our favorite parts! Although, there are many other favorite moments as well.”

Did you two do a first look?

“We did not. We wanted the aisle moment to be the first time we were able to see each other. It was so special this way.”

What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“We are back to work for a few days then leave for our honeymoon on the 4th of July. We head to Cabo, Mexico 😍”

What are three things you love about your groom?

His heart – I will never question his love for me or others His confidence His adventurous personality – life will never be boring”

What are three things you love about your bride?

“Her natural beauty Her amazing personality that goes with mine Her caring heart

Who played a special role in helping you pull off your perfect day?

“This is complicated! I’m grateful for everyone. However, Jenny Scales – she was the event planner/decorator. She went above and beyond to make my vision become a reality. We also couldn’t have had such a beautiful reception without our parent’s financial support. Also, can’t forget about all of our vendors!!! Such a team effort!”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“Get as much done early on as possible but don’t stress if things come up the week of. Things will! Also, ensure the best man grabs the rings. Lol!”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“We forgot the rings!”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“Flower petal toss exit after ceremony. We did this outside of the church. It was a blast!”

First dance song?

“All My Love – Coldplay”

Ceremony music?

“Natalie Lyons – singer String Quartet Piano Organ”

How big was your wedding party?

“7 bridesmaids & 7 groomsmen plus bride and groom”

Reception dinner: buffet or served?

“Served”

“Cake – White, chocolate, lemon”

Did you give out a wedding favor?

“Sugar cookies with our wedding crest”

What was your favorite part of working with B&B?

“Their organization skills and constant positive energy!! It makes everyone being photographed feel confident and focused.”
