The Swift Family Session

Ohhh, the Swift family. Where do we even begin?! 🥹 We have loved this sweet crew for years and getting to photograph them year after year after year has been the biggest honor!! Watching these girls grow up right before our eyes has been nothing short of magical…it’s the kind of beautiful that sneaks up on you in the best way!💕

We met up for their session on the most glorious sunny evening and from the very first click, the light was dreamy, the giggles were nonstop and the love between them was overflowing. There’s something so special about families who feel like old friends…the comfort, the joy, the ease. It made our hearts so happy to spend the evening capturing the sweet little moments and the big laughs alike!!

Swift fam, thank you for continuing to let us freeze time for you. We adore you endlessly and are already counting down to next time!!✨

What are the current updates of your family?

“Both girls will start school together in the fall! It really is true, time flies by (too) quickly. Nora Grey just learned to tie her shoes and this feels huge!”

What has been your favorite family vacation memory so far?

“Tent camping with our friends continues to be something we look forward to every year! SO many great core memories created. More recently, our favorite family vacation memory is the bears that visited us every day while we were in Gatlinburg. We spent time doing so many fun things, but the only memory the girls have are the bears. If you were to ask them about the trip you would hear all about the bears trying to sneak into the grill for our chicken and the time when 3 “teenage” bears were on our van!”

If you could choose any way to spend a family night at home, what would you do?

“As often as we seem to be running around, we like to keep it simple when we can: watch a movie, color coloring books, eat pizza, and make s’mores.”

What is the best memory you have of your family doing something together?

“The little things for sure, the girls still holding my hand when we run errands. Or pretending they are driving the shopping cart at Kroger. Nora says her best memory is family pictures with Bret and Brandie, but she might be trying to butter them up so she gets the best pictures!”

What is your favorite family tradition?

”Holiday world trips every summer. It’s my “yes” place where I don’t have to worry about cleaning, working, errands, or saying “no.” I LOVE that tradition. Sam’s favorite family tradition is Saturday Night Hibachi!”

What’s next for your family?!

“Transitioning into the new school rhythm, but first, relishing the last few weeks of summer!”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“Everything. I say this every year, but it remains true: from start to finish Bret and Brandie are AWESOME! Like Nora Grey said, it’s during these sessions that we create memories and it’s icing on the cake that we have the 2 best photographers there capturing us as we are. We already cannot wait until next year’s!!”
