Hi, friends! Meet Amanda and Jeffrey! They had a gorgeous summer wedding in Jasper, Indiana at KlubHaus 61. We were super impressed with this amazing venue in Southern Indiana! It had such a classic vibe for their vintage, eclectic wedding. To date, this is probably one of the most beautiful weddings that we have ever shot. Amanda, being a photographer herself, really helped us bring her perfect wedding vision to life. She 100% trusted our professional opinions on everything! We started off at the Klubhaus 61 while the girls got ready. Hair and makeup was done flawlessly by the gals from iCandy in Jasper. The bridesmaids radiated in their different shades of purples and pinks. We were obsessing over the palette of colors that Amanda chose. We have shot hundreds of weddings and we believe that this was the first time EVER that all of the girls were ready to go one hour before they were scheduled – this is almost unheard of in the wedding world. Those girls deserve an award for helping their best friend’s big day flow so smoothly and stress-free.
Bret spent this time capturing all of our detail shots and man, were there a TON of gorgeous details to capture?! Amanda’s mother owns a store called “Elements of Design” in Jasper, and she made sure not to leave any tiny detail out of this day! Every single detail was meticulously thought out and their personalities shined through every aspect of the day.
We next met at the Riverwalk in downtown Jasper for the first look. It was nothing short of spectacular. Jeffrey looked clean, crisp and dapper in his tuxedo while he waited patiently for Amanda’s arrival. Jeffrey’s jaw dropped when he turned to see Amanda and he kept telling her to “Spin, spin!! Your dress! It’s beautiful!” Isn’t that every bride’s dream?!?! We captured a few shots with them by themselves before moving to the bridal party. When a couple is meant to be, it makes posing SO easy and effortless!
Next we brought in the bridal party – talk about a party waiting to happen! This group was a blast! Constantly laughing and cracking jokes. We spent the whole afternoon giggling! After grabbing all the fun photos, the bridal party headed to the Klubhaus 61! Amanda and Jeffrey got to hang out with the little ones. The junior bridesmaid and flower girl thought that Amanda was the real-life version of a pretty princess! We couldn’t have agreed more.
Friends and family, local and from afar, traveled in to join these two in their exchange of vows overlooking the lake under a gazebo. The wind was ferocious and uncooperative, but Amanda handled it with humor and grace. The guests got a kick out of her lightheartedness while she asked the wind to “please calm down”. Jeffrey’s sister, Lana, led the ceremony which added such a beautiful and personal touch to their special day. Not to mention, she did AWESOME! Guests then joined the couple in a balloon send-off which was super cool, and very unique! Each guest wrote well-wishes on a postcard and then tied it to a red heart balloon. One, two, three, and each guest let go of their balloon. We are really interested to see how far those balloons end up!
An elegant reception was held at the Klubhaus 61 and the ballroom was absolutely breathtaking. Details, details, and more details. The reception was beautifully decorated and the floral arrangements were magnificent. There was so much food, but even more dancing. We’ve never seen so many guests flood the dance floor – and with rockin’ moves to boot!
Sunset images are some of our favorites; so of course, we could not pass up the chance to capture the last moments of the day. This gave the couple time to reflect together on their perfect day. We also captured a few pictures with a family-owned vintage Volkswagen Beetle. We always love being able to capture such eclectic images with our clients.
We are incredibly grateful to have met Amanda and Jeffrey and we truly cherish the relationships that we have made with them. We wish you all nothing but the best!
