Downtown Owensboro, KY Engagement Session

If you’re looking for a fun, adventurous couple to read about today – we’ve got you covered! Lindsey and CJ describe themselves as social butterflies and we couldn’t agree more! Their engagement session was SO much fun and looking at their images you can just feel the happiness these two share. 

From the moment we met Lindsey and CJ we fell in love with them. Lindsey has a vivacious personality and CJ is just HILARIOUS. They keep the good times rolling for any and everyone that is around them. Lucky us! Lindsey really wanted an urban, city vibe for their engagement pictures as well as a big, beautiful barn in some. I couldn’t love this mix more and we were so happy to find two perfect locations! 

Our time together began in downtown Owensboro…which completely fits the urban vibe Lindsey was looking for. YAY! We were so blessed with the MOST gorgeous sunlight,  which if you know Bret and I, we are obsessed with beautiful sunlight!! Lindsey and CJ’s color palette went perfectly with the scenery around them. We especially loved Lindsey’s POP of blue against the pretty pink trees that were in full bloom! (All the heart eyes!!) When you put together a gorgeous couple, perfect outfit choices and stunning backlight you get MAGIC! I think you can tell from these wonderful images that we definitely had some magic with these two 😉 

For the second half of Lindsey and CJ’s session we found a lovely field with the perfect barn Lindsey was looking for. It was so much fun watching these two dance around and giggle with one another in the hazy sunlight. Lindsey’s fun, floral dress/romper combo flowed with the wind so wonderfully and added so much movement & romance to this session. Plus we saw lots of genuine laughs & smiles from these two thanks to Bret hopping around the field like a crazy man scared of snakes! He is such a chicken and if you know Bret Nowak you know he is ALWAYS in flip flops…which just made it even more comical. 

When asked what they are most looking forward to on their wedding day these two said, “Having all of our friends and family together to celebrate!” After spending this time together with Lindsey and CJ we know their wedding day will be the MOST fun filled with lots of love, just like they are! Lindsey and CJ are just gorgeous and we cannot wait for their wedding!
