A Historic Downtown Newburgh Engagement Session

We can’t even begin to describe our excitement about this next couple – Jessica and Connor. They are literally two of our favorite people on the whole planet. The first time that we ever talked, Jessica was studying abroad at Harlaxton College in England. Guys, Jessica was basically living in this big beautiful castle for a semester — how cool is that?!!? It was such a unique and special situation for us to do a chunk of their wedding planning while our bride was in another country!

As a welcome gift to all of our brides, we mail them a 70+ page Bride Guide full of posing tips, outfit ideas, location planning and all of the fun things in between. We were so extremely excited to mail our first Bride Guide out of the country to England. We spent the days in between then and now planning and dreaming of alllllll the wedding and engagement session details. Jessica and I had this magical text conversation going on full of fun photo details up her sleeves! 

We were so so soooooo very excited for this session to finally roll around! We met Jessica and Connor in downtown Newburgh, Indiana. It should be noted that Jessica and Connor were dressed IMPECCABLY! Their outfits were on point which means that someone must have read the Bride Guide thoroughly 😉 It was a beautiful evening with the most fantastic weather! We started the session out with puppy photos with their sweet pup, Lilly!  Wow — what a fun way to start out their session. All of the puppy snuggles and kisses for the win!!

We tucked into all of sweet spots that we could find and there were PLENTY! We loved shooting their session in Newburgh, because that is where a whole lot of their love story took place! Jessica and Connor frequently spend date night there and it is where Connor popped the question! Downtown Newburgh holds a lot of history for their sweet love story so it was so much fun to peruse the town for their engagement session. 

We truly had the time of our lives with Jessica and Connor and we CANNOT wait for their wedding day!
