A Navy and Blush Wedding in Tell City

We are currently on the road for a quick little weekend trip with our sweet besties to Georgia! We love fall weather for road trips because of the changing leaves along the interstates! Passing all of the gorgeous fall foliage has us reminiscing back to Brianna and Matt’s big beautiful wedding! Check out all of these beautiful pictures — this is one blog post you don’t want to miss!

Bri was one of those magical brides that reached out to us as soon as she and Matt got engaged! She knew immediately that she wanted to book with us and I will never forget receiving her sweet messages and talking with her about their wedding plans. Bri was sooooo excited to be working with us! You all, you have no idea what an incredible honor this is!! We can’t even put into words how special it is when a bride is that dedicated to having us be a big part of their day! It literally makes us swell with pride and joy 🥰 We were beyond honored to take on Bri and Matt’s wedding!! From our very first dinner date to their engagement session, we knew we loved them BIG!! They share a sweet, special love and enjoy joking and laughing with one another, all while treasuring one another in every way possible! They are the best of friends and share the most beautiful relationship!!

For their big day, we ventured up near Tell City, Indiana. They were getting married at a cozy little church in Branchville, Indiana. When we entered, we were blown away by the most beautiful and quaint small town church vibe that was bursting at the seams with love and charm. As Bri and her girls were getting ready, they were full of the giggles and spent the whole morning cracking jokes, showering Bri with allllll the love. I loved watching Bri turn into bride! It is always one of my favorite moments watching a beautiful woman turn into a gorgeous bride!!  The glam squad that day was full of the most loving hearts and made all of the girls feel like their best selves! #dreamteam

The most hilarious part of day was the faux first look that one of Matt’s groomsmen did! His fun-loving groomsmen brought his wife’s wedding dress and played a little dress up. Once dressed, he popped outside to surprise Matt with whom he thought was going to be Bri! It was so funny when Matt turned around and saw his BFF in a wedding dress! The two of them erupted into laughter!! When they turned around, all of the church windows and doors were filled with the bridal party cracking up!  Once we got our “fake” bride back inside, it was time to bring Bri out! It was as if time was standing still as we helped Bri carry her big beautiful train to one of the most beautiful fallesque areas on the property! When Matt turned around, his face broke out into a huge smile and they immediately fell into each other’s arms. First looks are our favorites because in that moment, it is as if the bride and groom are the only two in the world! It was so stinking sweet! Just look at those smiles!

After their first look, we hopped into some bridal party photos and bridal portraits. We spent the afternoon laughing and loving all the fall scenery! Can it just stay fall forever, PLEASE?!?! Bri and Matt’s bridal party were full of jokes all afternoon and they kept Bret and I in stitches. Once we wrapped up with photos, it was time for the ceremony, YAY!!!! Bri and Matt stood in front of their closest family and friends and promised forever to each other. It was one of the sweetest ceremonies as they spent the entire time staring into each other eyes as if they didn’t want to look at anyone else. 

After the ceremony, we zipped through some family photos and knocked out some stellar sunset portraits!  We headed off with the bridal party to one of the couple’s favorite bars in Tell City. They all hung out and spent some time celebrating the new marriage! Once they were ready, we made our way to the reception at The Schergens Center.  I’m not sure if we’ve seen a party as big or as celebratory as this one! We had a blast celebrating with Bri and Matt and we are oh so happy for them! We cannot thank them enough for trusting us to capture their big day and cannot wait to see what their future holds 🙂
