A Sunset Anniversary Session at The Corner House

Celebrating Kayla & Christian’s first anniversary with a dreamy sunset session was MAGICAL!! These two tied the knot at The Corner House one year ago with their family and friends!!  So, venturing back to the B&B for their anniversary session was PERFECT and watching these two reminisce on their wedding day was as magical as it sounds!! ✨  Woo!! Here’s to Kayla & Christian!! Cheers to ONE YEAR!!  Read below to hear what these two have to say about their first year of marriage!

 

What do you like best about being married?

Him: “The best thing is knowing you have a partner that is always your biggest supporter.”

Her: “The best thing is being able to share your life with your best friend.”

What’s been the most surprising thing about marriage?

Him: “How easy it’s been. Most people say the first year is the hardest but clearly they chose the wrong person to spend it with.”

Her: “How much fun it is. I seriously LOVE hearing him introduce me as his wife!”

What’s your favorite memory of the last year?

“Our wedding day was our favorite memory this past year. Actually, a majority of it has been hard with the pandemic. We both loved our anniversary session because we got to stop and get away from everything happening in the world and just have fun with each other.”

What was your favorite date together last year?

“We both loved our romantic dinner we won on our honeymoon. We enjoyed a candle lit Italian dinner under a private cabana. It was truly beautiful.”

Looking back, what was your favorite moment of your wedding day?

Him: “My favorite moment was seeing my breathtaking bride walking down the aisle toward me. I had never seen someone so beautiful in that moment.”

Her: “My favorite moment was when we had just walked back up the aisle and off to the side away from the joyous noise. It was just the two of us for the first time that day. Christian grabbed my hand and whispered in my ear “We finally did it, my wife.” I could hear the smile in his voice. He pulled me in for a hug and said “I love you.” I’ll never forget it!”

What would you tell yourself if you could go back to the the morning of your wedding?

Him: ”Hold on to all of these memories. These are all the people that mean the most on the best day of your life.”

Her: “This is the day you’ve been waiting for your entire life. Take in every moment because it will be over before you know it.”
