Oh my goodness…watching your best friends get married is one of the absolute best things in the world!! Add in being the Maid of Honor AND the photographers…and well, it was genuinely the BEST DAY EVER!! AHHH!!! This wedding was definitely one for the books!! 😍 Amber and Alex, we love you two so very much! Grab some coffee and snuggle in to read Amber & Alex’s featured Q&As and to see some of their dreamy day!! 💕
“I wanted a bohemian/vintage vibe. Brandie brought the idea of vintage glass into the back of my mind and I just rolled with it. From that point on, everything was centered around that glass. I spent so many hours shopping in antique stores! I wanted it to be romantic, but not over-the-top. Our venue, Funxion Events, reaaaally helped pull all of the design together. Their venue was the perfect space for my vision!”
Amber: “I loved dancing the night away with all of our closest friends and family. They all made sure that we were having the BEST time! A time so great that I ripped my dress and our Best Man ripped his pants!!”
Alex: “Amber walking down the aisle. She had waited for this day for a long time (I would have settled for a courthouse wedding) and I loved seeing the joy on her face as she walked down.”
“Yes!! We wanted to do a first look to ease some nerves and anxieties!”
“Alex was waiting outside the hotel and I set up right behind him. I came up behind him and just hugged him from behind for a long time and we just talked about our morning and our nerves before he turned around. When he turned around, we hugged again and couldn’t stop smiling! It was the perfect moment and really helped calm the both of us down!”
“I think we are both ready to move towards building a bigger family! Baby or new dog?! We’ll leave that part a surprise!!”
“His sense of calmness, his sense of humor, and his ability to forgive quickly and without judgement.”
“She’s responsible (if not for her, my bills wouldn’t get paid because I have no idea what I’m doing), she’s compassionate, and she’s funny (looking)”
“Definitely Brandie and Megan with Vida Events! They were both LIFESAVERS!! Megan answered all of my aesthetic questions and Brandie literally answered any and all questions 24/7. Best MOH in the universe!”
“Just roll with the punches, especially those Covid brides! It’s YOUR wedding and you’re allowed to feel sad if something gets cancelled or postponed. But don’t dwell on it. Sometimes changes are inevitable, so lean on your friends and family for support!
On wedding day, if something goes wrong, who cares? You’re honestly probably the only person that will know something went wrong and at the end of the day, you’ll be married, and that’s all that matters.”
“I used my late great Grandma Reisz’s rosary in my bouquet so that I’d have a piece of her there with me on wedding day!”
“Footprints in the Sand – Leona Lewis”
“No, we made a donation to Riley’s Children’s Hospital instead!”
