A Fall Engagement Session in Southern Indiana

Oh my HEAVENS!!  This engagement is one that we have anticipated & hoped for a LONG time!!  Mac and Jennah are finally getting married, guys!! AHH!!  We were beyond thrilled when our sweet besties got engaged and even more excited to officially get them in front of our cameras to celebrate that beautiful new ring!! 😍 We had the very best time watching these two giggle & snuggle!! Let the wedding countdown begin!!

How did you meet?

“We met freshman year of high school. We had study hall together. I would follow her down the hallway yelling “Party at Jennah Banks House!” I thought it was funny, She didn’t.”

What was your first date?

“We don’t really know. We think it was a trip to Applebees after a football film session for the 2 for $20 and $1 Bahama-Mamas. Romantic, right?”

Do you have a favorite date you’ve ever been on together?

“We took a weekend trip to Paducah Kentucky. We stayed on the river. We visited wineries, distilleries and antique shops. We even visited Metropolis IL (Hometown of Superman.) There, we visited the casino and traveled through Southern Illinois on the way home with no GPS.”

When did you get engaged?

February 8 2020

How did he propose?

“He made a photo album book of all of our photos over the past 15 years and had me come over to the fireplace to look at it.  He had our song playing in the background.  After looking through the book he got down on one knee and popped the question!  Afterwards, he had set up for all of our family and closest friends to surprise me at Peppers Ridge Winery.  Our families and us then went out for dinner afterwards at Lure in Owensboro, KY.”

What’s your favorite way to spend the weekend?

“We like to be outside when the weather is nice (fishing, camping, sitting around a fire).”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“He always makes me laugh. He does anything for me to make me happy. He’s my favorite person to hang out with and go on adventures with.”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“She understands me better than anyone. She’s very patient and caring.  I can always be myself with her. She’s literally my best friend.”

What is one interesting or random fact about each of you?

“We make wine and are renovating a 110 year old farm house.”

What was your favorite part of the engagement session?

“When Minnie came to take photos!”

Advice for other couples who are prepping for their engagement session?

“Don’t wait to shop 48 hours before your session! 🤣”
