A Rolling Hills Country Club Wedding Celebration

Zara and Adam officially tied the knot back in April in a very intimate ceremony and had the most beautiful wedding celebration with their sweet family & friends later in August!! 😍🎉 We had the honor of photographing their marriage the first time around AND had the BEST time celebrating with them at round two!! What BIG lesson did you learn throughout your engagement?

“Patience and perseverance and to expect the unexpected, especially wedding planning during a pandemic.  We had to postpone our original wedding on April 4, 2020, but we decided to still get married that day.  We are so happy that we did.  A marriage is a commitment of two people, and a wedding is party that can be rescheduled.  Love is not postponed!”

Tell us a bit about your wedding!

“Our colors were blush, gold, ivory and black.  Our vibe was classic and romantic.”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“Adam: Getting married to my beautiful bride and seeing family we’ve seen in awhile.  Zara: Finally seeing everything that we planned for the last 1 1/2 years come together beautifully.  I loved our intimate wedding ceremony back in April AND our ceremony in August with our loved ones!”

Did you two do a first look?

“Yes!  Before we met with B&B, we didn’t want to, but they convinced us to do one.  I’m glad we did- It’s a magical moment!  It also makes sense logistically speaking.”

If you did a first look, tell us about it!

“Even though we were already married, it was STILL so exciting seeing each other all dressed up for our marriage celebration.  We loved that we had a moment to ourselves.  The day is so busy and you don’t get much alone time!  Do the first look!  Trust us!”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“Update our house and start a family!”

“His sense of humor, intelligence and smile!”

“It’s so funny.  Adam literally said the same thing!  Her intelligence, sense of humor, and her smile.”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“We have so much more appreciation for our wedding celebration after having had to postpone it.  Soak up every second of it.  Give yourself grace.  Don’t sweat the small details that may not be perfect the day of- nobody will know the difference besides you.”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“My veil fell out of my hair right as I was walking down the aisle.  Luckily, Jamie was there to put it back in before my dad and I continued.”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“Our signature cocktail drink sign that featured our furbabies.”

What dessert did you serve at your reception?

“Paradise Cakes made our wedding cake and cupcakes. Be Happy Pie Company made our mini pies. We had a variety of cupcake and pie flavors. They were all delicious! Our guests raved about them!”
