We are over the moon with excitement for these two parents-to-be and OMG these sweet photos are just BEAUTIFUL!!! 😍 Meeting Audrey and Cody to grab a few photos of their baby bump at sunset was SO fun!! “June 16, 2021”

How did the happy parents meet?

“We were introduced and set up by mutual friends! As most people know, Audrey solidified the first date with a firm handshake 🤝 and the rest was history!”

Where did each parent-to-be grow up?

Audrey- Odon, IN Cody- Evansville, IN

What has mom craved the most during pregnancy?

“Absolutely nothing! In the beginning of the pregnancy, we kept joking about all the late night road trips that Cody was going to have to make to satisfy my bizarre food cravings- but in the end, I have had zero!”

What was the first thing you two did when you found out you were expecting?

Audrey— “Cody was at work when I found out. The first thing I did was tell my mom! Then, I quickly ran to the store and purchased a onesie that said “daddy’s best friend.” I had the pregnancy test, the onesie, and a big beer waiting on the table for Cody when he got home. As soon as he saw it all, he ran over to hug me and said, “congratulations!!!” Umm, you too?? We couldn’t stop laughing! 😂”

What was the first thing you bought for the baby?

“The “daddy’s best friend” onesie”

What’s been your favorite memory of pregnancy thus far?

“Our favorite memory has been seeing the ultrasound and hearing that sweet heartbeat for the very first time!”  Audrey— “But I will also never forget seeing Cody’s face when he felt the baby move for the first time, melted my heart ❤️”

Who is more likely to get up in the middle of the night with the baby?

Who will be more nervous when labor starts?

Cody, for sure! We’ve already let the hospital know that Cody will probably need his own chair and personal nurse on standby in case he passes out!

Which parent is more likely to enforce the rules?

Cody! This is true already with our fur babies!

Which parent will the baby look like?

Our guess is that he will look more like Cody- so bleach blonde fluffy hair, blue eyes, and pink skin!
