Brittany & Neil’s Evansville Wedding

Brittany and Neil are MARRIED!!! 🎉 WOO!!  These sweet newlyweds had to wait an extra year to tie the knot due to Covid…so you can imagine the anticipation/excitement/celebrating/giggling was at an all time high allll day!!! Brittany and Neil, we are SO honored that we got to celebrate/capture your magical wedding!! We love you both oh so much!!!💕

What BIG lesson did you learn throughout the wedding planning process?

“It doesn’t matter how much you plan, there’s always something unexpected that will happen: Covid!”

Tell us a bit about your wedding!!

“We wanted a romantic vibe. We chose navy and gold as our colors and then just incorporated A LOT of greenery and candles.”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“That’s such a hard question! Once the ceremony was over and we were able to celebrate at the reception, that was the most fun! But I would really give the whole day a 10/10!”

Did you go on a honeymoon?! If yes…where did you go?!

“Yes!! We went to Cabo San Lucas!”

Favorite honeymoon memory?

“It’s really hard to say… the area is so beautiful there and the people are so wonderful! We ate so much great food too! We happened to be there during Hurricane Olaf so that was interesting too!”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“We really love to travel and now we can do that since the wedding is behind us!”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“Neil is so thoughtful and caring. He’s always there for me when I need a shoulder or will send me flowers at work on a random day.

Neil always makes sure that I know I’m loved. He gives me random “I love you’s”, a small peck on the cheek or a compliment and it just makes me feel special!

Neil does a lot of sacrificing to provide  a beautiful life for me and our pups! He’s a travel nurse and he works A LOT of nights and A LOT of weekends. He loves his job and I’m SO happy he does! It just makes our time more valuable together as a couple!”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“Brittany has the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever met. Her capacity to love and to show love is limitless. I’d never been loved until I was loved by Brittany.

Brittany is beautiful beyond words. Her eyes are coals of blue flame, making the stars in the night sky jealous of their beauty and clarity.

Brittany is a good person. Beyond the goodness of regular people, and beyond the goodness of examples I could use here. Brittany loves without reservation and she forgives when it would serve her better to not.”

Bride, tell us a bit about who was the most helpful in helping you pull off your dream wedding…

“Katy – my day of coordinator and Bret & Brandie – Without them I would not have gotten through the day!”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“Savor every moment of your special day. You spend so much time planning and in the blink of an eye, it’s over.”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“Neil’s daughter was also his “best man” and that was really special to him.

We also were able to incorporate our dogs in too! They were staying at their normal daycare and they were able to bring them out for some photos.”

“No, but we did a donation to It Takes A Village in honor of our guests. That’s where we got both of our pups and they do great things for the community!!”
