Oh these two…Sadly, their wedding plans were tossed awry when Covid shut down the world last year, so Stephanie never had the chance to wear her wedding dress since they had a small + quick wedding in the midst of the covid chaos!! Soooo, when Stephanie reached out asking to do a sunset session to show off her dreamy dress with her sweet hubby, we were THRILLED!!! These two shared a first look and spent the rest of the evening laughing together & celebrating their love!! SO SWEET!! Read more about Stephanie and Jordan below with some fun Q/As and enjoy seeing some of their stunning photos!😍
“We first meet when I was ding dong ditching his house with some friends one of whom was his best friend. Jordan ended up chasing us down the road shouting to stop ding dong ditching his house. After we stopped laughing he introduced himself to me. We stayed friends for a year and then started dating when I was 16 and he was 18, so I guess you can call us high school sweethearts.
We continued dating through college and even did long distance twice when we both studied abroad. Neither of us though thought that our relationship would last for life since we started dating so young but we were always laughing and smiling with each other and it’s always been easy to be together. After 8 years of dating he asked me to marry him and now after our 10 year anniversary of being together I can still say we are laughing and smiling at each other everyday.”
Him: “I love having someone I can come home to. Someone I know I can talk to about my good and bad days. Just being with someone I can relax with.“
Her: “I love that I have someone who I can be my totally self around. I absolutely love that when I say or do something really silly and Jordan makes fun of me for it I can say “Yeah well you married me so what does that say about you”. I love having someone that I can ugly cry to about the smallest of things and knowing that he will always be there through thick or thin, laughs and smiles and all the rest.”
“Our wedding was not how we planned it to be. We had our wedding all planned and it was only 3 weeks away when Covid lockdown was announced. We got married in a super small wedding at our church with our immediate family there. If I could go back I would tell myself to breath, relax and wear the dang dress the first time around because Covid isn’t going anywhere! Ha!”
Him: “What surprises me the most is just how much nothing changes. We have been together so long that our relationship doesn’t feel all that different to me.”
Her: “I would say the thing that surprised me the most was the confidence that comes with being a wife. It’s almost like you are now in some secret wives club like the Real Housewives and now you are somehow cooler than all the girlfriends.”
“One of our favorite memories over the last year was our Florida family vacation because it was the closest thing we got to a honeymoon and the first real trip we took as a married couple.
“Our favorite date we went on last year was when we went to Salem, MA to visit family. We spent the day walking around in the rain with our umbrellas sight seeing and smelling the salty ocean air. It was really relaxing and a great way to see the city because it wasn’t crowded.”
“Some of our favorite memories are of us going to flea markets or yard sales and just goofing around, pointing out great deals or the weirdest items we can find.”
