Jay & Katelyn’s Sweet Session

We had the BEST time celebrating Jay and Katelyn’s sweet love at the John James Audubon State Park in Henderson!! Ahh!! These two are the sweetest, most giggliest couple and we just LOVED having them in front of our cameras!! How did you meet?

“We met at Ivy Tech, on his last day there before graduating.”

What was your first date?!

“We went to a Chinese buffet and a movie – we were both broke college kids!”

Do you have a favorite date you’ve ever been on together?

“We have been on a lot of trips but our favorite was a Valentines weekend our 3rd year together, when we stayed at the Brown Hotel in Louisville Ky. Jay booked a nice room and had flowers delivered to the room. We got all dressed up and went to dinner reservations at The English Grill and shopping in Louisville the next day.”

When did you start dating?

“May 8 2012”

What would the perfect date night look like or include?

“We like going to museums and zoos, and we usually end up at a BBQ joint.”

What is your favorite movie?

“About Time is our favorite movie ever!”

What’s your favorite way to spend the weekend?

“We are old now, we like to get up early, go get breakfast, get shopping out of the way, then come home and get things done around the house.”

For the her: What are three things you love about him?

“He is very patient and even headed, slow to anger and quick to forgive He is quiet and kind He makes me feel safe”

For the him: What are three things you love about her?

“She finds humor in just about any situation and makes me laugh deeply about the silliest of things. She is spontaneous when we are out or when an idea to do something strikes her so it keeps things lively. She is always the one people gravitate towards in conversations because she is such a personality overall and it’s amazing to see.”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“The entire experience was great fun for the both of us!”
