Sarah and Grant’s Engagement Session

Say hello to these two!! Sarah and Grant’s DREAMY engagement session in Newburgh, Indiana was INCREDIBLE + WONDERFUL + BEAUTIFUL!! These two are so full of love and joy…it’s contagious!! How did you meet?!

“We met through mutual friends (well sort of). Our friends were hanging out late September of 2020 when Grant got a call asking if he would be willing to go on a date with Sarah, to which he said yes. Sarah got the same call from her friends, but she said no. Fast forward to January of 2021 when Grant messaged Sarah, not knowing she originally said no. She somehow responded to his cheesy pickup line and the rest is history!”

When did you start dating?

“March 3, 2021 :)”

What would the perfect date night look like or include?

“Eating at one of our favorite restaurants (probably Azzip), grabbing a drink at Mo’s House, and going on a walk.”

When did you get engaged?

“February 26, 2022 :)”

How did he propose?!

“Grant bought the ring a couple months before he originally planned to propose, but could not wait any longer to ask Sarah the question. So he decided he was going to propose 20 minutes before it all happened! Sarah struck up a conversation with some strangers while out for a walk (if you know Sarah at all, this is totally on brand for her). Meanwhile, Grant was nervous and attempting to get her to sit and watch the sunset with him so he could pop the question. After a brief conversation, they finally sat down. Grant pulled out the ring and before he could even ask the question, Sarah said yes!!!!! It was such an exciting moment for us both and we cannot wait to say “I Do”!!!”

What are your favorite activities to do together?

“We love to go on walks, jam out to TSwift, watch reality dating shows, travel, watch sunsets, and live in the moment together!!”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“It’s so hard to pick just three, but…. Grant always looks out for me, and knows what I need before I do most times. I really love always knowing he has my back. Grant is one of the kindest people I know, and will work so hard to take care of those he loves. I love the ways he cares for others. Lastly, I love knowing Grant is my biggest supporter. Knowing he is with me during my highs and lows makes me so happy.”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“Sarah has a heart of gold. She is literally the most compassionate person I have ever met. She cares for everyone, including people she doesn’t even know. Sarah is always there for me whenever I need her. She always knows what to say or do to make sure I am at my best. Sarah is a motivator and pushes me to be a better version of myself daily. She is loving and makes me want to grow for not only myself but our relationship.”

What do you both do for a living?

“Sarah is an ICU nurse, and Grant is a tax accountant!”

What’s your favorite place you’ve ever been?!

“When Sarah was studying abroad, Grant came and visited her in Reykjavik, Iceland. It was such an amazing trip and great to see each other in person after a few months apart.”

What’s something you are both passionate about in life?

“Helping out those around us!”

What was your favorite part of the engagement session?

“Getting to spend time together and building even more excitement for our wedding we never knew existed! (Even if it was a million degrees outside)”
