Claire and Kane’s Wedding

Ahhh!! Claire and Kane are MARRIED!!! 🎉 Their wedding day was just the sweetest celebration of love and full of joyful moments!! Everything was pure perfection…even with a little rain here & there! These are the kind of wedding days that remind us why we love our job oh so much…happy in love couples are our favorite!!!  We are SO thrilled for this cutie couple and wish them a lifetime of love & laughter!! We love you two so much, Claire and Kane!!💕

Tell us a bit about your wedding!!

“Our wedding was a classy yet modern ceremony. We wanted all of the classic wedding things, but with our own little twist. We had a string quartet play at our ceremony and I asked them to play more modern songs. It was timeless and perfect!! Our colors were terracotta and black, but we incorporated lots of different fall colors as well!! We said “I do” at the Corner House in Rockport, IN. It was absolutely STUNNING! It rained on our wedding day, but that didn’t stop us from having the most amazing ceremony inside the barns!”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“Our favorite part of the day (and I HIGHLY recommend it) was our private last dance. Everyone left the barns and our DJ played our favorite song! 🤍 It truly was a magical night!!”

Did you go on a honeymoon?

“We did! Okaloosa Island FL! My husband and I got up early every morning and walked on the beach. It was perfect!”

Did you two do a first look?

“We did! We both knew we would be too emotional to see each other for the first time at the alter, so we had a private first look. It was magical!!! We stood right in front of the beautiful barn doors, and the look on my husbands face just said it all!”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?!

“We are in the process of finalizing the finishing touches on our forever home!”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“His heart, his mind, and his soul. Literally. He has a heart of gold, and he is always there for you when you need him. He is one of the most intelligent individuals I have ever met. He cares for everyone and everything around him. His friends, his family, his animals. He never fails to put others first.”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“I love her determination, her patience, and her love for animals. She is so headstrong, but in a good way. She puts others before herself, and sees the good in all things.”

Tell us a bit about who was the most helpful in helping you two pull off your dream wedding?!

“Oh my gosh where do I start! My parents played a huge role in making sure that I had everything I needed to make our wedding absolutely perfect! My sister, owner of Ella Park Bridal, made sure that I found the most stunning dresses 🤍 that included a rehearsal dress, ceremony, and reception dress!! It was MAGICAL! Our planner, Megan, with Vida Events. I can not thank her enough for all she did for us. She was so on top of everything, and I was constantly amazed by her! She took my vision and made it a reality! Our wonderful photographers, B+B 🤍 they along with our planner, definitely kept us on track for the big day! They had so many tips and tricks to make the wedding day go by smoothly, and it helped tremendously! We couldn’t have done it without them! All of our vendors helped tremendously!! We could not have had the wedding of our dreams if it were not for each and every one of them!”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“Hire a planner or day of coordinator! Knowing that you have someone there to help you if you need it relieves so much stress!! Also, don’t stress the little things!!! The day goes by so fast, and you won’t even notice the little things you stressed over.”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“Well.. it rained! We were supposed to have our ceremony outside, but minutes before the ceremony, it started pouring! I was upset at first, but with the help of all of our vendors, friends, and family, we ended up with a beautiful ceremony indoors. It was perfect just the way it was!”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“We had a unity tree ceremony! Even though it is more common, we felt like it was very unique to us!”

First dance song?

“Joy of My Life – Chris Stapleton”

Ceremony music?

“We had a string quartet play! Parents/Grandparents: Hallelujah Bridal party: Marry Me Processional: I’ll Be Recessional: Shut Up and Dance”

How big was your wedding party?

“We had 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, and 4 ushers!”

Reception dinner: buffet or served?

“Served”

Reception: open bar or cash bar?

“Open bar”

What dessert did you serve at your reception?

“Cinnamon rolls and pie bites”
