Paige and Dylan’s Engagement Session

Okayyyy…We couldn’t love these two more & honestly we are SO excited to share their sweeeeet engagement session photos!! We had the best time laughing with these two and we LOVED spent the sunny evening capturing (& celebrating) Paige and Dylan! AHH!! #foreverobsessed We seriously cannot wait for their wedding!!  Let the countdown begin!!✨🎉😍

How did you meet?!

“Our best friends invited us both to dinner one night, we had never met before so they called it a “blind double date” but looking back Dylan and I really aren’t sure what to call it. 🤣 We had dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings then came back to my house for games and drinks. Dylan and I quickly became best friends and were friends for over a year before we starting officially dating!”

What was your first date?

“Our first official date was dinner at Los Bravos!”

When did you start dating?

“July 31, 2018!”

What would the perfect date night look like or include?

“Dylan would say the perfect date night is at the racetrack but as much as I love watching him race I would probably have to say a sushi date and movie!”

When did you get engaged?

“December 19, 2021”

How did he propose?!

“My family and I planned a trip to Disney World. Dylan told me he was going to come a day later due to work, but little did I know Dylan had the perfect plan and I was absolutely clueless. Our first park was Magic Kingdom. I thought Dylan would be joining us after his flight landed that afternoon. My dad, brother, stepmom and I rode our first ride of the day (Space Mountain) and then my brother suggested we should get a picture in front of the castle since it wasn’t busy BUT I wanted to go to the next ride. I thought it was silly and wanted to wait until Dylan got there later to take pictures. I was finally talked into going to get a picture. As my brother and I were getting our picture taken, I felt someone touch my side…I turned around and it was Dylan down on one knee. I was totally surprised & I had instant tears. I noticed his dad videoing and then saw his mom taking pictures (they had beat us to Disney and had stayed at a different resort the night before and I had NO idea- I didn’t even know his parents were coming). And of course I said YES at my absolute favorite place. It was perfect! Dylan and his parents had went the previous year with us to Disney, so everyone (but me) thought it was happening that year 🤣🤣”

What are your favorite activities to do together?

“Racing is definitely a favorite. We love weekends at the race track with friends and family. But if we aren’t racing or relaxing at home with our dog, we love going on little weekend trips or going to any country concert!”

What’s your favorite way to spend the weekend?

“Racing if it’s racing season! But we love to hang out with family and friends, cook dinner and spend time at home with Ace.”

For Paige: What are three things you love about Dylan?

“1. His big, caring heart. He will go out of his way to help anyone. 2. I love his sense of humor, he is always making me laugh and everyone else around him. 3. His work ethic. He works so hard for not only what he wants but for our future. He is one of the most hardworking people I know.”

For Dylan: What are three things you love about Paige?

“1. I love how caring of a person she is! She always tries to helps others as much as possible! 2. I love how passionate she is about my racing. She is always uplifting and supportive even after a bad weekend of racing! 3. I also love how good she is with kids and how great of a teacher she is. I will always love the times that random people come up to me to tell me that Paige taught their child and how much they love her!”

Do you have any pets together?

“YES! We have a precious, fluffy boy named Ace. He is a Golden Doodle pup, who is spoiled rotten!”

What is one interesting or random fact about each of you?

“I am a huge IU fan! I have been since I was little and even graduated from there. Dylan was born and raised in Kentucky and is a big UK fan. We are a house divided and very competitive.”

What’s something you are both passionate about (in life)?

“We are both passionate about our jobs, and our family & friends. Dylan is very passionate about racing.”

What was your favorite part of the engagement session?

“Sunshine!!!! Bret & Brandie were so awesome to work with and are such a great team! We loved getting to spend a couple of hours with them during our session!”

Advice for other couples who are prepping for their engagement session?

“Trust them! They are professionals and are AMAZING at what they do!”
