Why did you decide to do this session?

“I never imagined that I would have a daughter. My oldest child is a boy and when I found I was pregnant with twins I thought definitely they were two boys. I was shocked that one of them was a girl. I knew right away I wanted to have pictures done with her and my mom, two of the most important women in my life.”

What is something that makes you three special?

“Our bond. I can’t help to smile when my mom and my daughter are together because I see how much she loves her. My daughter is a mini version of myself and I sometimes feel like I am transported to the past and I’m watching my mother and how she was with me.”

What is your favorite tradition that you hope to pass down?

“My daughter is the first granddaughter so there will be a lot of firsts for us!”

Do you have a special motto or favorite quote between you three?

“My mom says Waylon is whiskey in a teacup and all I can do is laugh because she is perfectly describing all three of us. My mom made it her mission to raise three strong women and I intend to do the same for my daughter.”

What is your favorite memory together?

“My favorite memory so far is when my mom found out I would be having a girl. Of course she would have been over the moon for two boys but there was no hiding her secret excitement when she found out I was carrying her first granddaughter.”

What’s next for you three?!

“I picture a lot of girl trips down the road for us three!”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“It is always a pleasure working with Bret & Brandie. My daughter was OBSESSED with Bret, he is always so good about making my children smile! Brandie is my personal cheerleader, she is wonderful about making this mama feel special and beautiful! I just adore B&B ♥️”
