HUNTER AND SCOTT ARE MARRIED!!!! 🎉😍💕 Ahh!! We could not be more excited for these two and their new marriage!!  Hunter and Scott’s wedding day was nothing short of pure magic…so intimate, sweet and full of joy!! It was the BEST DAY EVER!!  Watching these two promise forever surrounded by their family and friends was sincerely beautiful!! We love you both so much!! CONGRATS AGAIN!! Here’s to your love, laughter and happily ever after!!🥂✨🫶🏼

Tell us a bit about your wedding!!

“We went with a blue theme, utilizing navy blues for the gentlemen and a sky blue for the ladies. Our venue had a very warm, neutral palette so we went with blush roses, sky blue hydrangeas, and eucalyptus for greens. Natural wood added some natural contrast. We went for a very intimate vibe, having only our closest friends and family. Knowing the best and most supportive people were there, it was conducive to a very high energy and loving atmosphere. Everyone quickly became one big family by the end of the night. We also incorporated subtle notes of blue forget me nots to honour, remember, and include Logan (Hunter’s brother) in our special day. We were also happy to offer our best friends Beth and Kyle Lubbehusen an opportunity to have their first dance as their wedding was cancelled due to the pandemic.”

What BIG lesson did you learn throughout your wedding planning?

“Go with your heart on the options you feel the biggest connection and the most happiness from, but also look into multiple options before committing. Sometimes the most expensive option is not the best! A great way to incorporate a lot of family and close friends during the planning process was to ask them to help with specific things they had strengths or hobbies they already do! A lot of our custom details through out the wedding were made by family and friends who were eager to help. These details are what made the wedding both really cute and uniquely us! Also, if you haven’t discovered Canva, you need to!”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“Cliche, but all of it! From the time we woke up to the time we went to bed was magical. All of the moments we had alone were also very special. In the morning, we gave a box of gifts to each other that represented inside jokes and memories from throughout our relationship that made us laugh and look forward to the many years to come.”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“We are looking forward to continuing to make our house into a home that is uniquely ours.”

Who was most helpful during allll the wedding planning and helped you pull off your dream wedding?

“Each other. The entire process can be very stressful and overwhelming, but being able to lean on and rely on each other for support is essential. It also reminds and affirms why you two are getting married! Being each other’s best friend, cheerleader, and business partner is the foundation of our marriage. The planning process can confirm we are on a path of both love and success!”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“Have fun with it! It’s your day and you should have it exactly as you want it, while being realistic. Our engagement was a little over a year and that felt like a good amount of time to plan and pay for everything. With all of the stress it can be easy to forget to have fun throughout the process. There are a lot of budget friendly date nights and day trips to do in your area if you look. Your wedding is one very important day of your life, but so is every Tuesday night together too! Remember to be present and celebrate the little moments through out the process too!”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“Our youngest niece being crazy about all the groomsmen. She is still the talk of the group!!”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“The blue forget me nots to remember and have Logan apart of our day, as well as being able to host Beth and Kyle Lubbehusen’s first dance.”

“4 Men and 4 Women”

“Buffet”

“Pumpkin Cheesecake, Mouse Banana Pudding, Bourbon Chocolate Bread Pudding”

Did you give out a wedding favor?!

“Yes! Personalized, laser cut wooden names were used at the reception in place of name cards”

What has been your favorite part of working with B&B?

“The intimacy of their dedication made them family through the entire process. B&B kept us laughing and on schedule from start to finish on what can be a very overwhelming day. They totally get an 11/11 rating and would highly recommend them as both Mario Party competitors and photographers!”
